As summer finally winds down, it’s time to take at a few shows I’m planning to watch in about less than a week. As always, it’s subject to change. (Image Source)

In the second round of video game impressions, I’m going to share my first impression thoughts on Atelier Escha & Logy since I will probably won’t be able to finish my first play through when summer break ends the next week. (Image Source)

For a long time, video games played a big part of my life because of the escapist element coupled with interaction. Of course, somebody came up with a brilliant idea to make a video game personifying the console wars such as the battle between the big three (Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft) or the one that happened in the 90s between the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis.
Now, these consoles are personified as cute girls in a video game titled Hyperdimension Neptunia, which is made by Compile Heart and Idea Factory. While Idea Factory has a bad reputation for making not so good games (although Monster Monpiece was enjoyable), at least their installments to their franchise improved on their gameplay and story. From that, we have the Anime, which everyone waited for.

Initially, I wasn’t going to watch this, but I couldn’t resist the urge since I enjoy magical girl shows. This time, we have yet another alternate world in Fate series, but with a magical girl twist as Illya becomes one. (Image Source)

From the last season, we saw the girls enjoying each other as they make memories and most importantly, show their passion for the things that they enjoy doing. Now, Fuu wants to take it to another level, hence being “more aggressive.”

At last, Kyoto Animation finally tries something different by focusing on former male swim club members with girly names.

With the spring season coming to an end in a few weeks, it’s time to take a look at some shows I will be watching for the summer season. (Image Source)

Since the Winter Anime season is coming to an end, it’s about time to share what I will be watching for the spring. As always, its subject to change. (Image Source)

For a while now, there has been a good amount of criticism surrounding Idea Factory/Compile Heart games. They have a bad reputation of having overly complicated gameplay, needless grinding among other things. While the first Neptunia game had a lot of bugs, at least I heard that they improved the gameplay in the sequels. Now with the Playstation Vita, I think they kind of learned their lesson with Genkai Totsuki Monster Monpiece (限界凸騎モンスターモンピース, lit: Unlikely Knight: Monster Monpiece), which sold over 50,000 in retail and download. With that, I would like to share some experiences of playing it after getting through the first Chapter and a part of the next one. (Image Source)

In the past, I have played various Japanese RPGs such as Final Fantasy and Pokémon (excluding the Atelier games I played recently). Of course, there is one other RPG series that is popular with the Anime fandom and it’s the Tales of Series. (Image Source)

Since I completed the first season, how does the sequel plays out? Well, rather well.

I’m a year late to the party, but I’m not going to miss out on this for any longer.
And yes, I was on vacation during the past two days. This can explain the inactivity because wireless Internet wasn’t free. Since I am back, its time to catch up.

Based on its cover, this show is about sweets, a mochi shop and a plump white talking bird.

I bet most people were expecting a second season of Idolmaster. Instead, we got this… (Image Source)

Since I got so many games for Christmas and played with them for so many hours that I totally forgot to write a Winter Preview. So, it wouldn’t hurt to share what I plan to watch a few days late.
As always, I start with a few shows before tacking on additional ones.

In the past, I have written some initial impressions or full reviews of video games from Japan. Of course, most of what I covered is ones related to Anime such as the Idolmaster games and Pokémon. Now I’m going to do something slightly different and share my thoughts about a pretty obscure game called Atelier Meruru. (Image Source)

As The iDOLM@STER franchise becomes more popular, especially after the anime that aired last year, Namco feels the need to make a new game. That game is iDOLM@STER Shiny Festa, which focuses more on the rhythm aspect rather than the managing from the main games. Like the first PSP games, each edition contains different idols and exclusive songs (at least 6 songs are included in all the games). (Image Source)

Since I’m not watching much this season, I decided to watch some older stuff and finish the backlog. With that, I have decided to start the second season of Nanoha.

At last, the most anticipated visual novel adaptation, Little Busters has finally landed, but does it meet expectations? Well, it sort of.
