Now that the dismal summer is finally coming to an end, ultimately, it’s time to share my Fall picks. Yes, this is a pretty busy season. Of course, there are two shows I am excited about.
Of course, this list is subject to change.
…Since there is not much airing this summer, it’s apparent that I’m going through my backlog. This time, I decided to watch Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru, w magical girl warrior show with slice-of-life moments, at least in the first season.
The show gets darker, especially in the later seasons. Enjoy the happy moments while they last. It gets darker in the second half. Thankfully, we are only covering brief thoughts about the first four episodes. Basically, the introduction to the whole team, the meaning of the Hero Club and what the girls are fighting.

As expected, we have yet another adaptation of an Atelier game. This time is, Atelier Ryza as Reisalin Stout decides she has had enough of being forced to do farming work and harvesting. With that, she wants to go on an adventure with her friends, which gets her into trouble.
Yes, this episode is two episodes long, clocking in at 48 minutes, but it’s almost how I remembered it. Sure, the animation is a step up compared to the first adaptation of an Atelier game, namely Atelier Escha & Logy.

Believe it or not, three Bang Dream It’s My Go episodes were released today. However, there is no way I can possibly review three episodes in one day. With that, I’m doing two each week, which should reduce the burden. After all, I work in the office on Thursday. After watching the first two episodes, how did the spinoff fare?
Note: I will be covering two episodes a week instead of three. It’s a bit too much. If that becomes too much for me, I’ll just cover one episode at a time. This just adds to this dismal season.

You might be wondering, where is the Summer season preview? Shouldn’t it be out by now? This summer is probably the worst anime season ever in recent years, excluding 2020, for obvious reasons. You can see why?

While I haven’t finished the first season of D4DJ since I only watched two episodes. Still, it’s probably not entirely required. I can still watch the second season since it focuses primarily on Lyrical Lily. But, as the name implies, will it live up to the potential yuri aspect?
From my knowledge, the first season focused on Happy Around, Peaky P-Key, and Photon Maiden. I’m missing a bit, but I will probably catch up soon. The other two, Merm4id and RONDO, are in the OVA episode, which I will probably cover later this week. For now, I’m going primarily blind.

As for determining the fourth show to cover, there is two potential to pick out from. First, we will look at Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-Man-Mai no Kinka o Tamemasu. This is where Mitsuha falls into an imaginary world with no idea where she is.
…
With the year of Yuri upon us, it’s time to focus on the first show of several this year. Yes, that show is Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei, and the first episode is what I expected.

Now we are at the halfway point of the fall season. So with that, I will share my mid-season thoughts on Uchi no Shishou wa Shippo ga Nai and first impressions for Kantai Collection Second Season.
Also, I will share what I am working on for the Twitter alternative, as things have been going downhill since Musk took over. Given the rising amount of hate speech and chaos with advertisers pulling out and layoffs over the past week, some are concerned that the downfall of Twitter is near. I thought of that and started to create an alternative to it.

With summer finally ending, it’s time to share some potential picks to watch for this season. Also, I want to address the state of this blog, as things haven’t improved since I last addressed it but have gotten worse. As a result, I became more frustrated as the season went on.
