Once upon a time, Draggle offered me to join this live watch of Simoun shortly after my defeat in the Aniblog Tourney. Of course, I was busy with a lot of projects and finals for the Spring Semester until now. I decided to take a look at the first two episodes and what I have seen amazed me. (Image Source)

Let’s Check Out – Natsuiro Kiseki – Episode 1
If you read some of my contributions on Anime Instrumentality Blog, it’s a known fact that I am a fan of Sphere because the girls can sing great (with Toyosaki Aki being an exception). Now, they are creating an original anime called Natsuiro Kiseki, which means Summer Color Miracle in Japanese. Since it combine one of my favorite group of singers with one of the best animation studios, Sunrise who recently produced Daily Lives Of High School Boys, what could go wrong?

Spring Break Madness: Papa no Iukoto o Kikinasai – Episode 1
Somehow, I have a certain urge to watch Papa no Iukoto o Kikinasai (lit. Listen to me, Girls. I am Your Father!) because the girls looked so endearing. Also, I felt bored, so I decided to watch it for myself to see how it was like.

Mouretsu Pirates – Episode 1 – First Impressions
I have to admit that I have been experiencing some boredom since I’m watching hardly anything. Usually, I watch a minimum of three shows per season. With Milky Holmes S2 release taking longer than expected, I decided to check out one of the most talked about shows in the past few weeks. That show is Mouretsu Pirates (or Bodacious Space Pirates).

Tamayura ~hitotose~ – Episode 1 – How Everything Started…
Back in 2010 when the 4 episode Tamayura OVAs aired, the story felt somewhat incomplete from the lack of development of the other characters. Despite being short, the heartwarming feeling through its lighthearted story and gorgeous setting made the story really enjoyable.
With the first episode of Tamayura ~hitotose~, it retains the same aspects of the OVAs and expands on how Fuu got inspired to become a photographer and ultimately deciding to move back to the town of her childhood.

Fate/Zero – Episode 1 – Brief First Impressions
As expected, Fate/Zero started with a bang in a massive, 48-minute first episode. From my experience, it’s the longest introduction to a story I have seen for the first time since I started watching anime. Considering that this episode is very long, I’m only going to share my overall thoughts in a brief manner with the assumption that everyone had already watched it.

Shinryaku!? Ika Musume – Episode 1 – Return of Chizuru’s Status Quo!
Finally, the second season of Ika Musume has invaded the blogosphere with the first episode. Of course, if you interested in watching this show and haven’t watched the prequel, I highly suggest doing so before jumping right in or you can get lost pretty easily.

True Tears – Episode 1 & 2 (First Impressions)
For a while now, I wanted to watch True Tears, PA Works’s first production before they produced other anime such as Canaan, Angel Beats and the now airing Hanasaku Iroha. While the latter having a few similarities since Mari Okada worked on both series, the focus is primarily on the love triangle that slowly develops with Shinichiro and the two girls, Hiromi and Noe.

Ano Hana – Brief First Impressions (Episodes 1 & 2)
This year, there doesn’t seem to be any shortage of anime filled with drama and tear-jerking moments. Madoka Magica, Hourou Musuko and to a certain extent Hanasaku Iroha have shown us some of the most dramatic scenes thus far. However, Ano Hi Mita Hana No Namae O Bokutachi Wa Mada Shiranai, which perhaps holds the longest title in anime history takes it to an entirely different level with a childhood friend tragedy.
