Yeah, the episodes leading up to these moments felt somewhat melancholic before the big one hit. Still, for him to have a comeback in the following episode, start taking care of Ushio and making up with his father is quite amazing… It shows that he isn’t too hopeless.

Aside from that, there are things I haven’t mentioned that were in Episode 13, such as the drunk Nagisa… that was funny.

This is a different location as Kirei knew their previous location. Also, this location shows up in Fate/stay night… Apparently, he knows the new one as well. Still, I think he found out from flying around or something.

I totally cried with these episodes D: Tomoya was rather melancholic for a while but I’m glad he was able to overcome his depression.

Even so, I still think the show is still stupid… there are better military anime out there that doesn’t blatantly promote horrible music from a certain idol group that has no singing talent or anything special about them.

On the story side, I think that we still don’t know anything about the events of 45 years ago. There must be a reason for which the first volume is not available anywhere…:P
