Genkai Totsuki Monster Monpiece – First Impressions – A Cute and Fanservicy Monster Girl Trading Card Game
For a while now, there has been a good amount of criticism surrounding Idea Factory/Compile Heart games. They have a bad reputation of having overly complicated gameplay, needless grinding among other things. While the first Neptunia game had a lot of bugs, at least I heard that they improved the gameplay in the sequels. Now with the Playstation Vita, I think they kind of learned their lesson with Genkai Totsuki Monster Monpiece (限界凸騎モンスターモンピース, lit: Unlikely Knight: Monster Monpiece), which sold over 50,000 in retail and download. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai – Episode 1 – The Dark and Embarrassing Secrets of Togashi Yuuta
Since summer is finally over, it’s time to focus on the first show I’m watching this fall. Just like Hyouka, it seems that Kyoto Animation was busy working on another project that got announced last year. This show is Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai (中二病でも恋がしたい, lit: I have Middle School Second Year Disease, but I Want to Love!). It has a male lead and this weird girl with an eye-patch. Seems interesting enough until I actually watched the first episode. After that, my mind simply got blown away.

Dog Days 2 – Episode 1 – The Grand Return
Last summer, I watched the whole first season of Dog Days while on vacation in two days. Although the story was average, it’s still a fun experience as the characters had enjoyable personalities along with the idea of a friendly war. Despite the mundane ending, it was fun and had charm. With the second season, I expect things to become more exciting as Shinku brings his childhood friend, Becky with Shinku’s cousin, Nanami to that fantasy world.

Tari Tari – Episode 1 – When your Vice Principal Doesn’t Let you Sing, Start your Own Club!
It’s finally summer, thus we begin the anime of this season. First to air is of course Tari Tari. If you know some Japanese, “たり…たりする” usually lists activities. In English, it will translate out to be “do such things as x and y.”
As you will expect, this show is about two male characters, three girls and music. It sounds familiar, but I haven’t even shared my thoughts about the episode yet!

Let’s Check Out – Natsuiro Kiseki – Episode 1
