Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Second Season – Episode 12 – Kanata The Advisor

June 18, 2022 by Chikorita157 1 Comment
Kasumi stroking her ego as awlays.

With the School Idol Club finally deciding to do their own live performance, what do they plan to do? Also, Kanata notices her little sister is feeling a bit down as she prepares for Love Live preliminaries.

With December already here, the School Idol Club is trying to figure out what to do for their event. But, of course, it can’t be during Christmas as the Love Live preliminaries are happening, and Kanata wants to cheer on her little sister.

At least the new members aren’t being left out.

With that, they decided on doing it on New Year’s Eve, as Ai suggests. I find it funny how Mia dismisses Kasumi’s slogan as she thinks it’s nonsense. What did Kasumi come up with? It’s about spending the cutest New Year’s Eve with Kasumi. Not too surprising since she is a butt-monkey.

Kanata notices that her little sister is feeling a bit uneasy lately.

The focus seems to be on Ayumu and Yuu, with some Kanata thrown into it. Yuu sees a poster about a music composition contest. Yuu is not sure about doing it since she decided to join the music course. After talking it over with Kaoruko, she shares with Ayumu that she is not interested as she is not sure about becoming a composer.

After reading a email from a fan, Ayumu doesn’t know how to deal with this.

On the other hand, Ayumu, after school, notices an email from a fan of hers. The person watched Ayumu’s performance and asked for advice. After all, School Idols don’t exist outside of Japan, which is why Lanzhu came to Japan. Then, she saw a poster about a two-week study abroad program in London. She doesn’t seem to ask about this to Yuu except for Emma, Mia, and Lanzhu. Still, Yuu and Ayumu don’t know or tell what they want to do to each other.

Kanata notices that something is bothering Yuu.

Eventually, Yuu and Ayumu individually ask for advice from Kanata as she makes something to cheer her little sister on. She finally notices that something is bothering Yuu. She eventually tells Kanata about the competition and her fear is winning it. That means less time being with Ayumu. Not only that, but they have also been together forever, and they don’t want to be apart. Not only that, but they also support each other.

Ayumu also asks Kanata for advice too.

Ayumu shares similar concerns as she is reluctant to go ahead with the study abroad program. Of course, she hasn’t told Yuu about this yet. Kanata hinted that she talked to Yuu but hid that fact. Either way, she is in a tough situation, which means Yuu and Ayumu are going to become apart. That is until a bunch of students from Shinonome Academy School Idol Club Fan Club asks for Kanata’s help.

It seems some fan club members wants Kanata’s help too.
That is one nice live stream.

Knowing that Kanata’s little sister is feeling a bit down, Kanata asks for a way to cheer on her younger sister. After all, spectators are not allowed at the preliminary’s venue. With that, they plan an in-person viewing watch party. They invited all the participating school fans to cheer the participants on. Yep, Kanata sent a live stream link to all the participants to see their fans cheering them on. I think this is an excellent way to give back. After all, the other schools that helped Nijigasaki to make the second School Idol Festival going.

At least Ayumu and Yuu pairing has become stronger.

In the end, Ayumu and Yuu share their intentions of going through what they want to do. They seem okay, although this means being away for a bit. At least they realize they can support each other no matter how far they are. After all, we have the technology to do it. This inspires Yuu to create 12 new individual songs for each member to sing. Yep, they become surprised. Either way, I wonder how their first live performance will turn out. We’ll see next time in the finale.
