While Himeno feels a bit down after how her father reacted to her bowl. Of course, their club advisor, Mami decides to go on a trip and advises the club to take a break. It’s obvious what Himeno and Nao does.
Sure, Himeno feels a bit down after her father reacted differently regarding the bowl. Yes, her friends noticed this, but Himeno wants to get over it. As expected, since they have practice exams, Mami decided to suspend club activities for a while. After finishing Himeno, Nao, and Mika finished their practice exams, they decided to follow their teacher.
I find this funny given that this was Himeno’s idea with Nao following along. Mika simply tagged along because she thought it will be fun. Yep, the reason they followed Mami is because of her phone call. Mika really thought that Mami had a phone call with her boyfriend.
Of course, she takes a train to Hime and Himeno, Nao, and Mika decides to follow her. The funny thing is that Mika almost blew their cover since she couldn’t stay quiet. Thankfully, Mami didn’t notice. Still, they didn’t realize how strenuous the trip was since Mami is good at climbing hills, which tires Mika out especially. This is kind of ironic since she usually has a lot of energy.
Eventually, Himeno, Nao, and Mika sit at the steps of a shrine. Himeno reveals how she felt and taking the blame for running away. It’s obvious that things are not working out for Himeno, especially given what happened with her father. After hearing her, Nao and Himeno hugs her and ensuring that this is normal. The funny thing is that they made so much noise that Mami catches them on the act.
Yep, we find out that she wasn’t taking to her boyfriend, but her her friend. She couldn’t tag along to check out the fireflies at night before the season ended. Either way, Himeno, Nao, and Mika are happy that they can see the fireflies before the season ended with their club advisor. Either way, it’s good to see Himeno feel relieved. Hopefully, she can look past how her father reacted and improve on her craft. ¶
