Now that Koguma finished her part time summer job, she wondered what Reiko is up to. As expected, it’s wild.
At last, Koguma visits Reiko’s home. Still, it’s obvious that Koguma becomes surprised by how beat up Reiko’s bike is but doesn’t say anything. As expected, she was waiting for her. Not only that, it seems that she brought food over.

It’s obvious that she wants to make Okonomiyaki. I find this interesting since it seems that schoolgirls seem to like Okonomiyaki as seen in some recent shows I watched. I guess it’s becoming a popular dish to make. Apparently, Reiko seems to like it as she hugs a pole. That is quite funny and cute.
You might be wondering, why Reiko also lives alone? Apparently, she feels that her parents are holding her back and not allow her to do things she wants to do. With that, she decided to live on her own. Of course, she has a goal in mind.
After reading some books about bikers climbing Mt. Fuji, she has a crazy idea of trying it herself. Yes, you hear this. She doesn’t want to camp and see the mountain. In fact, she wants to scale it with a motorbike. Of course, she finds some challenges with regulations making it a bit difficult. She finds out that her bike is not powerful enough, until she read online of others doing it with some upgrades.
She decided to work loading supplies. Reiko also has the task of doing some trail checks. Of course, when she tries to scale the mountain, she ends up hitting a rock or something. Yes, she becomes frustrated.

While she made progress with every attempt, she ends up failing. Yep, her bike also took some damage. Of course, her employer apparently did the same, with a group. Yes, he tells her that she can’t stand up to the mountain but stand aside it. As expected, the challenge consumes her instead of taking in the beauty of how it looks. Still, even in her final attempt, she doesn’t want to let Koguma down. Yes, she even did a wheelie trying to achieve the goal.

In the end, it doesn’t quite work out. Sure, she fell off the bike and the bike took major damage with the engine leaking oil. Despite being close, she concedes defeat and doesn’t feel so bad. After all, it’s not end of the world if she can’t achieve her goal now. There is always another opportunity to do so, and she can learn from her mistakes.

Still, it’s obvious that Koguma finds this as a silly idea. Yes, I agree since it’s not only risky, the bike is suitable for this. Still, Reiko thinks it’s possible since other achieved it. I find it funny how Koguma thinks that she can do what Reiko failed to do. I think that if Reiko put a few more upgrades and took it steady, maybe she would get up there eventually. Aside from that, I still think that what Reiko managed to achieve on her first attempt is impressive.

With that, I wonder what they will do before summer vacation ends. I guess taking a trip together is out of the question from how beaten-up Reiko’s bike is. With that, Koguma decided to try to get her full license. I wonder how she will fare.
Reiko confirmed she’s the cool and sexy Cub Buddy. I’m interested to find out what role the future third Cub Buddy will fill but until then let’s take driver’s ed with Koguma next time, unless they skip it and do something else.
Still, I have to admit that Reiko was bad ass trying to climb Mt Fuji with her bike, even if she failed. Still, I wonder when the third girl will show up.
