At last, Akari passed her first test to become Aria’s Amica. Sadly, there is one girl who is not happy with Akari being obsessed with Aria 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

While the first episode’s mystery felt like a warmup, this is finally the real deal as Shoutaro finds a little girl all alone walking to a convince store.

While I watched Hidan no Aria ages ago, it felt like another Kugimiya Rie Tsundere shows, especially since it was made by JC Staff. Instead of getting a second season, we now have a spinoff involving a girl named Mamiya Akari who looks up to Aria despite being dead last in the Butei rankings. I know it took awhile, but it’s here now.
As you would expect, Akari is definitely one of those girls that has a cheerful personality. Aside from kicking her younger sister in her dream, she apparently idolizes Aria, who is top of the class to the point where she can stop criminals in their tracks without fail. This time, Aria managed to stop a bank robber gang who is trying to escape by boat without any help.

Yes, it’s finally back and as always, the girls are adorable.

A few years back, I have shared my thoughts about collecting anime Merchandise. While I stopped buying anime DVDs several years back since I wanted to focus more on importing Japanese games and anime CDs from Japan, I decided to buy Idolmaster Cinderella Girls in Blu-Ray, which makes me wonder about Japanese anime releases and how they differ from licensed releases.
While I covered it somewhat in previous editorials, I never gone into much detail considering that I did not own a single Japanese release. Now I do, so it is time to talk about some differences and why they are expensive.

It has been a while since I have watched an anime that focuses on mystery. With that, it’s time to focus on another one, which involves an ordinary high school student boy and a young adult woman who seems to be obsessed with bones.

I have to admit that Illya from Prisma Illya is more enjoyable than the one in Fate/stay night. While I enjoyed the first season despite having a few flaws, I like how they made this spinoff into a magical girl show with the usual clichés as Illya and a mysterious girl named Miyu uses magical sticks to transform into magical girls to collect Class Cards.
The 2nd season eventually introduced Chloe, which is basically a darker skin version of Illya from Fate/stay night. While most of the second season was focused on her, there were many enjoyable moments, especially the fight at the end with Bazett. With that, will the second part of 2wei, 2wei Herz live up to the prequel? Somewhat.

Now that Uzuki got herself out of her depression, with the help of Rin and Mio, it’s time for the Producer to lend his support too.

As the fall season anime concluded last weekend, it seems that I ran out of ideas to write editorials. For now, it is a good time to focus on the remaining awards posts I have left collecting dust in a corner because I was busy doing other important things along with work. With that, I will share my responses.
