The cultural festival is finally here. You might be wondering, how well did Touko’s piece turn out? We’ll find out soon.
Himeno, Mika, and Touka is finally selling their works. Yep, Himeno is surprised that there are other schools attending the festival. Not too surprising it’s a festival after all. Of course, Mami eventually takes over selling the pieces while Touko, Mika, and Himeno goes back to their classroom.
You might be wondering, what did Himeno’s class do as their activity. Yep, they did an Alice-themed tea cafe. As you expect Touko dressed up quite nicely, which catches Mika’s attention. Of course, Mika meets the two girls, which they met at the contest. I find it funny how Himeno does the spell that makes the tea taste good.
When the two girls and Touko praises the mugs that Himeno’s mother made, her father was there along with Kusano. Of course, they showed them around the club house, which didn’t change at all. That is except for the quality-of-life improvements such as air conditioning.
As expected, Touko met Mami and asked if her grandfather came by. While Touko was away, it seems as if Touko’s grandfather came by, but Mami kept it a secret. When Touko was about to take over, Rio becomes amazed by how cool Touko looked in the outfit she was wearing. She likes it so much she wants to take a picture with her before asking about the special exhibit. Obviously, Touko turns it down as she already made something that she is proud of.
With that, Rio seems to like how it looks and promises that she will make something even better. Sadly, Touko believes her grandfather didn’t come by, but Mami didn’t tell that he came.
Of course, Himeno’s father asked about that the hidden piece that his wife left behind. Apparently, they found it. Yep, Himena really has the guts to fire the piece that she messed up, which is unusual. She decides to fire it to remind her of that she needs to always treat clay with respect. I suppose that if someone didn’t know the story behind the piece, he or she will treat this like any other garbage piece.
Aside from that, it surprises Himeno that her mother made her mistake permanent. I guess it’s her nature since she made that strange, but beautiful sculpture after all.
