While Kukuru is busy working on the special area proposal, one of Fuuka’s friends finds herself at the aquarium for some reason. I wonder why.
If you recall about that movie deal that Fuuka received from Ruka, we are seeing this come into fruition. I won’t be surprised it’s for a documentary of Tingaara all along. Instead of Fuuka, Ruka is staring it. Even so, it’s obvious that the director and Fuuka’s former manager wants Fuuka to be a part of it. Either way, Ruka seems happy to see her again.
Of course, Kukuru seems worried about Fuuka. She wants to check on her, but her a-hole boss won’t let her. He even scolds her for having a messy desk. It can’t be helped when he keeps piling on work and treat her like a slave while calling her names. I kind of wish her boss receives some retribution or that she proved her wrong. Unfortunately, he is the only one that remains irredeemable even as Chiyu has finally redeemed herself and not going back to her old ways.

As expected, Kukuru disobeyed his orders by deciding to take a bathroom break. Surprisingly, she receives no punishment. Kukuru is obviously worried, but Fuuka reassures her that she will turn it down. Of course, she eventually changes her mind, more on that later. This is especially the case when she overhears Ruka and her manager talking.
With that, it’s obvious that Fuuka’s old manager really wants her to be a part of the production. Even so, Fuuka doesn’t want to since she is done doing idol work. Not to mention, it could bring back the bad memories she had when she was an idol. Even so, it’s obvious that she has moved on to become an attendant that she feels that appearing in the documentary might cause people to speculate her return of being an idol or wondered what she was doing and spread rumors.
Fuuka shows the penguin that hatched a few episodes back. It’s obvious that the penguin still timid and Marina and Chiyu becomes worried. Can they fix this before the recording starts?

During dinner, Karin invited her coworkers and Ruka out for dinner. It’s obvious that she is happy to spend time with Ruka. Sadly, Kukuru couldn’t come thanks to being busy. The funny thing is that Undon mentions that being an idol is like being in sports anime. I won’t be surprised by this, especially given a certain someone wants to combine idols with sports quite literally.
Eventually, Fuuka finds Ruka feeling down some reason. It’s obvious that Ruka haven’t quite made it in her idol career. When Fuuka revealed that she will turn down the offer, Ruka becomes disappointed. After all, Fuuka thinks her work with the animals is more important. It’s obvious that Ruka worked so hard with the hope that Fuuka return to be an idol. However, she doesn’t realize that Fuuka already made up her mind on what she wants to do. That is becoming an aquarium attendant.
After Ruka heads back, Umi-yan reveals something about Ruka to Fuuka. He revealed that Ruka is having a hard time due to some of her fans harassing her. It’s obvious that she is receiving too much attention from management. This causes Fuuka to change her mind and be part of the recording to support her. That is when she took out the red high heels from the closet. This makes me wonder what she will do with them.

As for the recording itself, it went well so far. Sure, Ruka had a few blooper moments after announcing the penguin’s name. Sadly, it wouldn’t go into the water, but hid under the between of Fuuka’s legs.

During break, Ruka apologizes for messing up. It’s obvious that she tries her hardest but ends up when she gets too into it. This is when Fuuka gives Ruka her red high heels. Fuuka reveals that she dreamt of wearing these shoes on stage. Sadly, things didn’t go as planned and she just put them away.
While Fuuka used them as a good luck charm, she is willing to let them go as she is satisfied by where things are going in her life now. Still, giving those shoes to Ruka signals that Fuuka finally finds resolve in what she wants to do. In a way, Fuuka is passing the torch to Ruka and hoping that she finds the same resolve.

In the end, while Shiratama, the penguin has some difficulties going into the water, Fuuka takes her time. Eventually, she gives it the push it needs despite the other penguins scaring it. It was able to swim after struggling a bit in the beginning. Yes, this surprises Fuuka’s former manager as well as Fuuka managed to pull it off. Hopefully now, Ruka feels the same and not to become worried by what others think of her online. As they say, haters gonna hate.
Nice seeing Fuuka put her past to rest. Hopefully Ruka will take her words to heart and find her own path to greatness as an idol, with help from her new fancy heels.
Kukuru ditching her duties because she’s very worried about Fuuka was precious.
It’s good to see a resolve for a both of them. Hopefully now, Ruka won’t use Fuuka as a clutch and find her own success.
Yes, Kukuru worrying about Fuuka is good, although her a-hole boss will complain. I wish he gets some retribution of some sort.
