With only one more week until the end of the month, it seems that Kukuru is struggling. Also, we find out about the call Fuuka received from Ruka.
In the past few weeks, there were some speculations in the comments that Gama Gama Aquarium is going to close. Yes, from judging the episode’s title of this episode. I think the viewers are jumping the gun as we don’t know if Kukuru will succeed or there will be miracle. (Note: I didn’t intend to use this statement to offend or call out people, but it’s just part of my analysis of the speculation. With that, I sincerely apologize to readers I may have offended)
Of course, we do know is that the title has to do with the memory that Kai had. Yes, the memory when he first met Kukuru when she was crying. That is when she moved into her gandparents for the first time. More on that later.

As for the call Fuuka received from Ruka, it’s about another opportunity. Apparently, a up and coming producer wants Fuuka to do a starring role in a movie. This is kind of strange since the same agency shoved her out because Fuuka gave up the center to Ruka. Still, it’s obvious that Fuuka isn’t too sure if she wants to do it or not. She also shows her uneasiness to Kukuru. Even so, she is not even sure what to do when they ate watermelons together. Of course, Fuuka’s silence causes her to become upset for some reason. I wonder why.

Aside from that, Kukuru tried to receive advice from Undon’s mother. She gives a vague answer and suggests her to reexamine what she used to seeing to find new paths. She mentions the illusions she saw at the aquarium. While the kids, Kukuru, and Fuuka saw the visions, Karin and Undon haven’t. Also, there are a handful of people who experience this phenomenon too.

Kukuru is determined to use the ability to see visions to attract more people. Yep, her grandfather receives calls from perspective visitors as well. Of course, Kukuru finds out that it’s difficult to recreate this in other people. Sure, she experimented on Kai, but he eventually disappoints Kukuru as he couldn’t recreate it.

That is until the second try, when she saw a vision of Kukuru crying and his child self. He pushed him to well comfort her. Still, despite seeing this vision, he hides this fact from Kukuru. With that, this makes the episode’s title of “abandoned illusions” make sense as Kai never tells Kukuru about the vision. In the end, Kukuru ends up apologizing on social media and say that this is nothing. Even so, I still feel that Kukuru still have a chance to save the aquarium, but time is running out.
High drama this episode. Wonder how Fuuka and Kukuru will patch things up? As for the fate of the aquarium your guess is as good as mine.
Yes, it’s quite a dramatic episode and I am not sure how things will work out with the Aquarium. But hopefully Fuuka and Kukuru will patch things up with each other in the next episode.
