With Jahy still struggling, she begins her quest to collect the mana crystals. She runs into her former maid along the way. What she finds out about her becomes very ironic.
It’s obvious that Jahy fall from grace is very noticeable. Besides living in a run-down apartment, stuck in her child form, and having a low paying job, it’s obvious that she is struggling. Yep, without air conditioning, she is basically sweating her butt off. This of course motivates her to find those crystals.

Using her necklace, she tracks one down at a jewelry shop, until it sold out. It’s obvious that she can’t afford that. Yep, she sees her former servant, which goes by the name Dojima saw her. It’s obvious that she is a masochist as Jahy used to try a weapon on her, teased her with food, and used her as a chair.

The irony of this is that Dojima is living a good life. Besides having a limbo driver and being able to afford expensive coffee, she lives in an expensive condo. She even has a robot vacuum do the cleaning. This contrasts with Jahy, who hides the fact that she is poor, has hardly any mana crystals, and stuck in her child form.

What I find funny is that the fortunes have flipped on Jahy. When Dojima offered a taste of her food, Jahy got excited until she tricked her. Not only that, when Jahy tried to steal a mana crystal, it activated the trap that Dojima wanted to try out. I guess this is karma catching up to Jahy. Even if Dojima wanted the pleasure from Jahy, Jahy shouldn’t treat her servant poorly. I guess eventually, Jahy will humble herself after this experience.

In the second part, she goes on a hiking adventure to find a mana crystal. She skipped her rent payment to buy a lot of supplies. While she used her map and necklace to find it, she ended up getting lost. A crow eventually steals her necklace and she slid down a hill, losing all her supplies.

Yep, she was in a bad situation and felt that she was done for. She finds a baby crow chick and decides to bring it back to its nest. To her surprise, she finds her necklace and a mana crystal. When she grabs it, she fell from the tree since she couldn’t climb down. Thankfully, the landlady was there to save her.

It’s good that Jahy is finally making a small step in her quest to restore the demon realm. It’s good to see her show some kindness through her act. Maybe she will humble herself and not act too haughty. We’ll see as she continues to defrost, slowly as she adjusts to life in the human world.
A funny episode and am glad Jahy actually got the mana crystal in the end. I was worried that the status quo gods would somehow screw her out of the crystal but thankfully that didn’t happen.
I just wonder if she will level up in some fashion now she has a bigger crystal. And if she levels up what will that do to her pride and ego?! 😛
I highly doubt that will happen to Jahy, although it would add more to her suffering. I can only guess, maybe she can use her adult transformation a bit longer with some new powers. We’ll find out soon enough.
Druj is an excellent addition to the cast. Hopefully Jahy will learn to treat her better over time lest she want karma to bite her in the butt some more.
Yes, and I find it funny how she is living an easy life. Also, I think Jahy and Druj might make a good pairing. But hopefully Jahy will hopefully learn her ways eventually.
