Jahy finally got her first big mana crystal. It’s obvious what she does next, which gets her into some trouble.
It’s obvious that Jahy has a lot of pride. This is not too surprising since she is willing to punish her minions, that is when the demon realm existed. Now, she is showing no shame whatsoever. She shows off her larger mana crystal as a necklace to show off her achievement in the haughtiest way possible.
As expected, this kicks her in the butt in the end. The owner takes advantage of Jahy’s new power by cleaning her restaurant. Of course, while the bigger crystal allows Jahy use her adult form longer, using magic on frivolous things will eventually deplete her mana. Yep, she eventually reverted to her child form and becomes upset. I guess she obvious did that since the owner likes Jahy’s child from better.
Of course, it gets worse from here. Jahy invites Dojima to show off her new mana crystal. She even exaggerated the story of how she fraught a big bird to get a crystal. The funny thing is that she struggled to obtain it from a mountain forest. Not only that, but she also ended up saving a chick and having someone rescue her in the end.
As expected, Dojima becomes amazed by Jahy’s story. That is when she complains how little mana crystal she receives. The funny thing is that she gets them by the truckload. That is very ironic, which of course causes Jahy to self-depreciate herself. She made a big fool of herself bragging about her achievement.
Obviously, she should have not exaggerated her story. Sure, I bragged about I have better stuff than my cousins and such. Of course, this bragging can get back at you in the end. It sure did with Jahy as she shouldn’t really compare herself with others.
Of course, the façade of Jahy hiding her struggling lifestyle continues. Dojima catches her about to open the restaurant. Sure, Jahy lies about owning the restaurant, but it’s obvious that she doesn’t own it. She even serves her the best food and unfortunately, offered to pay the bill. Yep, she didn’t realize that Dojima racked up a huge bill. Goodbye rent payment, I guess. Still, I think this deed might help Jahy’s fortunes in the future, hopefully.
