Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka? Bloom (Third Season) – Episode 12 (END) – Melancholy of Hoto Mocha and Chino’s Order

December 26, 2020 by chikorita157 2 Comments

Cocoa is getting better at doing Chino’s mother’s magic tricks.

Now that Cocoa and her friends received their Christmas presents, it seems that Mocha and Cocoa’s mother decides to send something to Cocoa.

It’s obvious that Chino doesn’t really want to sing.

Yep, Mocha is already missing her little sister, Cocoa. As expected, she pretends that she is working at Rabbit House by wearing a replica of Cocoa’s uniform. It’s obvious that after seeing the photo of Cocoa and her friends wearing different colors of Rabbit House uniforms, Mocha feels left out. I guess Mocha is having the feeling of FOMO as she can’t spend time with her little sister and her friends or even cuddle them.

It’s obvious that Mocha misses Cocoa.
Mocha is having her FOMO moment.

When Cocoa’s mother saw how depressed Mocha is, she threatens to write a letter to Cocoa. Yes, about how depressed Mocha is. She eventually tries to make coffee but fails. I find it funny how her mother is about to mention how terrible the coffee it is along with her secrets in a letter. Still, Mocha still feel depressed as she faces some failures.

It seems that Cocoa’s mother doesn’t like Mocha’s coffee.
The old Mocha is now back. Sadly, her coffee is still bad.

Still, it’s nice to see her mother tell Mocha that Cocoa become a wonderful big sister. After all, Cocoa has grown quite a lot. Even so, it seems that their customers still look highly towards Mocha. She eventually tanks everyone and becomes cheerful again. Still, I find it funny that her coffee tastes worse than before.

Cocoa shows her 13-year old self.
Chino looks good wearing Mocha’s school uniform.

With that, Cocoa receives a package from her friends. It contains some bread, jams and Cocoa’s and Mocha’s old school uniform. I find it funny when Cocoa tries on her middle school uniform, Chino calls her little sister. Whoops, that is what Cocoa expected as she calls Chino older sister. I find it funny how Chino refers Cocoa as her little sister in a smug way.

I find it funny how Cocoa is taking the little sister role.

Of course, Chino tried on Mocha’s high school uniform. While it looked cute, of course it looks too big on her. Even so, it’s obvious that Cocoa knows that Mocha is not perfect, but she puts in effort to overcome them. Also, Chino has a feeling that she saw the school uniform she is currently wearing.

Mocha looking at her mother’s old photos.
Obviously, she is hiding something.

Meanwhile, it seems that Mocha wants to see her mother’s old photos. Yep, she seems super embarrassed that she wanted it back. When Mocha mentions her mom is an airhead. However, her mother refuted that, and it was her friend that have such a personality. She was best friends with Saki, who is a magician and a singer. She also mentioned that she gone far away. It’s obvious why.

Seeing Cocoa’s mother being friends with Chino’s mother, this makes the Cocoa and Chino pairing a faithful encounter.
Yep, Rize likes throwing snowballs.

I must admit that this sounds very familiar. After all, Chino sees the same photo in her mother’s old albums. Yep, Cocoa’s mother was friends with Chino’s mother. I guess fate has brought Cocoa to become more than just best friends with Chino. After all, Cocoa wants to master the magic tricks Chino’s mother does while Chino sings along. I guess. Yes, just like the old days.

Somehow, Chino got really lucky.

The new year has finally come. I find it funny how Chino asks why Cocoa doesn’t visit her mother and older sister. It’s obvious that Cocoa wants to stay with her friends. That is until Megu, Maya, and Rize threw snowballs at her. Chiya eventually brought a special pie that has a ring inside it. The person who receives it will become king for a day and have the right to issue one order for everyone else must follow. The funny thing is that Chino is the one that receives the ring.

I liked how everyone tried to hug Rize.

As expected, Chino doesn’t know what order to give. After her friends split off, she took her time to figure it out. After a while, she eventually gives the order. Chino wants to go on a trip if Rize passes her test with Maya and Megu as a graduation trip. It’s obvious that she wants to see the outside world. Of course, this sounds more like a proposal. The thing is, Rize already passed her entrance exams. This is when Chino gave her actual order of hanging out of her friends right now until the end of the day.

Still, Chino’s “proposal” surprises Cocoa. I guess Cocoa’s influence is wearing on Chino. I think this is a sign that Chino has gotten ever closer with Cocoa compared to before.

Final Thoughts

As expected, Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka? Bloom is very enjoyable like the previous two seasons. As expected, you have the usual pairings, although it seems that Chiya and Sharo received some more focus this time around. Still, it’s obvious that Chino is falling even more for Cocoa. While I wished that Mocha would come to visit again, but at least it’s nice to see her in the last episode.

Still, I wonder if there is a fourth season when we get to see Chino go to her new school. Of course, there is Rize finally going to college as well. Hopefully, we will see something about this in the future of course. ¶

A 4th season or movie about their vacation would be nice.

Yes, definitely agree. I definitely want to see them go on a trip and of course, Chino going to high school for the first time.
