Now that Yachiyo allows Iroha to interact with the mysterious text messages, you might be wondering where they are coming from? The text messages aren’t from a girl, but from a rumor that uses advanced deep learning artificial intelligence technology.
At last, Iroha decides to interact with the rumor through the mysterious text messages. It’s in fact not Futaba Sana that Tsukuyo mentioned last time, but the actual rumor. The rumor is obviously the Rumor of the Anonymous AI. One needs to jump off a radio tower to become involved with the rumor. The girl will enter a digital world named the “Endless Solitude.”
Apparently, the rumor wants Iroha to destroy her as she doesn’t want to lure more magical girls. As you would guess, this rumor doesn’t want to take part of the Wings of Magius’s plans anymore. With that, Iroha, Yachiyo, Tsuruno, and Felicia went to the top of the tower. As Iroha jumps off the twoer, she enters the digital world.
I have to admit that this arc is close to the actual story besides Iroha not asking Ai about Ui. Either way, it’s interesting to learn Sana’s relationship with Rumor of the Anonymous AI or simply known as Ai. Ai is a digital girl that traps magical girls who goes into the barrier while releasing the previous prisoner. What is interesting is that Sana actually befriends the rumor and eventually names her “Ai.” I have to admit that the moments Sana spends with Ai are precious.
We also learn about Sana’s past and her wish. Believe it or not, she had really bad parents who don’t treat her like part of her family. This resulted in Sana having really low self-esteem. There is no wonder why she wanted to disappear through a wish. She made that wish without realizing that there are others out there that are not like that. Either way, it’s quite easy to sympathize with her and even want to protect her.
When it comes to Ai revealing her intentions, Sana had a hard time accepting her decision to go away. After all, Ai is Sana’s only friend. However, Sana is left with no choice after Alina Gray shows up to get rid of Ai. Not only that, Alina is part of Wings of Magius. Alina uses her Doppel to get rid of Ai, but Sana manages to protect her.
While Ai succeeds in teleporting Alina out of the labyrinth, Alina’s paint severely corrupted her data. She tells Sana to destroy her and go back to the real world, Sana had a hard time accepting this. When Ai said that she will always be with her as one, she eventually accepts fate. With that, Sana destroys the rumor as she and Iroha is taken back to the real world.
With the Rumor of the Anonymous AI destroyed, Yachiyo and the others wonder where the person end up after leaving the “Endless Solitude.” It’s on top of another tower. As expected, Wings of Magius will be there along with Aname sisters and Alina. We’ll find out next time.

Sad conclusion to this Rumor.
Alina Gray was like “Not enough Shaft-Tilting? HAVE SOME IN SPADES!”. Antagonist organizations often have that one crazy/nihilistic member.
“THEM” not “SOME”.
Definitely a sad end, but hopefully Sana will recover and most likely join Yachiyo’s house.
Yes, Alina needs more head tilks. But she is definitely crazy, more so in the next episode.
