Ino decides to give Earth Science Olympiad a try. Can she make it?
From last time, it seems that Ino wants to step outside the box. After looking at a picture that Mira took of Mikake looking at an exhibit from the Olympiad. She eventually meets a girl named Saeki. Believe it or not, she participated in the actual Olympiad last year. After Ino heard that some universities can use the results, Ino feels that she shouldn’t tell Mikake about the Olympiad.
Ino took the test. While she thinks that she did well on the geology and astronomy, she bombed the other sections. At least she tried and it was an interesting and fun experience. She learned a lot and even got pictures as well. Too bad the picture she took turned out blurry compared to Saeki’s. I guess Ino still has a lot of practicing to do.
With that, it’s finally Christmas Eve. Ino, Mira and Ao throw a Christmas party. I find it funny how Mira causes the circuit breaker to go off. Yes, running a heater and an electric hotplate at the same time is not a good idea. Even Eve and Usami complained about this. With that, Mira and Ino asked Ao for advice. Yes, they gave Mari and Mikake blankets to keep warm.
Aside from that, it’s hilarious how the hotpot turned out spicy. Apparently, Ao used chili peppers since she thought she had to put everything in. While Mari and Mikake didn’t mind, Yuki couldn’t stand the spicy food.
After stargazing, Mikake and Mari gave Ino, Mira and Ao a special present. It’s a photo album filled with special pictures. For some reason, Ao started crying. Nobody took notice of this until the next day when Ino and Mira took Ao to a shrine. Ino notices something strange. They talked to her in a private area.
Apparently, something is bothering Ao. She is supposed to move with her dad during March. Her dad’s company transferred him to a different location. This upsets Mira as she would be too far away from Ao. Eventually, Mikake, and the others heard this sad news. I find it funny how Moe picks up Ao and carries her so she can be with her forever.
Thankfully, Misa came up with a better idea than Moe taking Mira’s love. Since she is moving away to university, she lets Ao stay in her room as long she can convince her parents. It’s obvious where this is going, right? This is just like Iroha moving in with Yachiyo, Mira just got something special that will result in a relationship upgrade. Either way, it’s like a dream come true. We’ll see where this heads next time. ¶
