You might be wondering, which hairstyle looks better, twintails or a ponytail? Naturally, Twintails are the cutest since two is obviously better than one. Today, I realized that twintails are so overrated when I saw the light. Obviously, ponytails are the best and I will tell you why.
So you might be wondering: why are ponytails better than twintails? Consider the ponytail’s elegance. Sharu from Dog Days is a good example. Her long light-blue hair in a ponytail does not only make her look adorable, she is gorgeous. Like they say, quality is better than quantity. In this case, wearing twintails does not necessarily make one appear cuter.
On the other hand, ponytails signify strength. Have you seen any magical girl with twintails survive in Madoka Magica? Nope since Kyouko is the only one that survived the longest besides Homura. That’s right, she sports a ponytail and is the most powerful magical girl strength wise. Not only that, she is badass. Compared to her, would you think Mami would have survived longer if she had her hair in a ponytail? Absolutely! By going with that belief, Fubuki, Yamato and Kaga (and others that sport a ponytail) are the best shipgirls because they don’t wear their hair in twintails, they have it in a ponytail!
At the end of the day, you have to admit that wearing your hair in twintails just makes one look like a child. When you grow up to be a teenager or an adult, it’s obvious that you don’t want to look like a child. Because of that, ponytails are the superior choice since not only you will appear a few years younger, you won’t look like a child. This is why ponytails are the most popular hairstyle in the world, including Japan!
With that, forget the nonsense Tail Red and Twirl wants you to believe. The true power is with the ponytail. It’s so powerful that the Ultimaguils are now going after that attribute instead of twintails. But never fear, we already have highly capable pony-tailed girls that don’t even need a silly trinket to beat the crap out of them. They are already strong. Not only that, many world leaders have already recognized their strength that the United Nations declared April 1st a national holiday called “Ponytail Day” to celebrate the accomplishments of women and young girls who wear their in a ponytail.
So what do you think? Are ponytails really better than twintails? Feel free to share your thoughts;
