Apparently, Yuka is a big coward…
Finally, a change in pace as the girls enters a singing competition in the festival. It’s kind of ironic to see Yuka not wanting to practice while the others do it since she was the one that wanted to participate. No matter what, she always wants to take the easy way out like making a wish that will grant them a great performance. This is not ethical since it’s cheating and the performance wouldn’t mean anything. I just wish Yuka would stop being too lazy and place her efforts on pursuing her dreams.
On the other hand, there is an amusing story of her that gets retold by Natsumi. Apparently in their childhood, the girls had a water balloon fight with a group of kids. While the Natsumi, Saki and Rinko got wet, Yuka just ran away because she doesn’t want to get soaked. This is funny since water balloon fights means you will get wet. Still, she managed to fill up a big one and unintentionally threw it at Saki and Natsumi. No wonder they find her annoying even though they are still friends.
While the girls won the singing competition without the rock, it got used to wish away the rain, which got Rinko’s mother’s approval. Still, it’s apparent that each girl brings something to the group that allows them to stay together. Yes, they do nasty things to each other for their own interests, but they remain best friends. From that, it makes me wonder how far Yukawill take them in pursuing a life as an idol. We just have to wait until it actually happens.
