Kana tries to perform a magic circle attack on the Kaii at the demolition site, but she gets caught off guard as the Kaii launches some icicles at Kana, and Riri shields her. Did Riri survive?
Kana, of course, freaked out after an icicle managed to hit Riri. However, the attack doesn’t seem as gruesome as expected; instead, it causes a scratch on Riri’s face. Tsuchiba came to deal with the Kaii. We learn that Riri requests help from AST to deal with more challenges with Kaii, especially in this case. She instructs Riri and Kana to get the people away from the site.
While Kana wonders if one magical girl is good enough for this job as it seems very dangerous, she decides to check on Tsuchiba. That is after she and Riri brought people to safety. Of course, we know Tsuchiba will react. Tsuchiba said she didn’t need help, although she received minor injuries from the icicle. When Kana tries to defend her, she says that Aesthetics makes no profits, only results and calls Magilumiere a fraud. That is a serious accusation, and it is probably no wonder Shikemoto isn’t getting along with the CEO of AST.
Still, Kana realizes something. She only played a minor role and didn’t produce results for the client. She admits that Tsuchiba is correct as she made hardly any results and wonders if she is even needed. That is until Riri came to talk about not being as valuable and dependable as Riri or even Tsuchiba. Riri revealed a secret about her plans to wear a white knit sweater. As a result, a series of unfortunate events derailed her plans to be unable to eat breakfast, clean up and eat cup noodles. It shows in Riri’s daily routine after the credits.
What is Riri trying to say? She is not perfect, but she still wants to improve the magical girl’s reputation. Eventually, a week passed, and Riri missed working with Kana but hoped to go out with her for tea sometime. Meanwhile, Shigemoto met with Miyako, and of course, she talked to Koga about the Kai mutation, but they probably won’t anytime soon. After all, differences in belief are probably the holdoff here.

@chikorita157@chikorita157.com I think AST’s main highlighted flaw is their indifferent attitude towards collateral damage. Even with a results-only approach, that would be a good reason to choose a competitor instead.
Unrelated, it looks like someone on staff really likes The Met gallery. All of Miyako’s pictures are from their collection.

Just a few episodes back, the AST CEO thought his magical girl will do the job faster in getting rid of the Kaii in the historic store without realizing that using a big magic circle around the market will destroy the historic area that will never be the same.
I guess I can agree that not paying attention to detail by causing damage in getting rid of the Kaii that it’s better to pick someone else to do it.
