Pocket Monsters XY – The Archdijinni of the Rings: Hoopa – Movie Review
It has been a while since I reviewed a Pocket Monsters Movie. To me, the movies went downhill since the ninth movie. While I haven’t watched the Pocket Monsters Anime for a long time, I heard that the Pocket Monsters X and Y anime was well received.
As for the movies, not so much, especially with the eighteenth movie. That movie is Pocket Monsters XY The Archdijinni of the Rings: Hoopa. It bombed badly since it made only 1.35 billion yen until the nineteenth movie managed to do even worse. It’s surprising how the Pocket Monsters X and Y anime was well received, yet the movies during the series airing performed poorly. We’ll find the reasons why as I share my thoughts on this movie.

Show by Rock – Final Review
I have to admit that I like watching anime that has a focus on music. This time, we are taking a look at Show by Rock, an anime adaptation based on a popular mobile game. It’s basically a show that focuses on rock music in an imaginary world populated by animal people. An ordinary high school girl gets sucked into this world. This is where the story begins.

Vita Capture Mod Review
As you know, I record footage with a Vita TV since it’s a cheap way to capture footage. While it’s tricky to record footage since the Vita TV use HDCP, it has some downfalls, namely compatibility. It’s basically a hit or miss. Sure, it will work perfectly with most roleplaying games, but games that uses the touch screen such as Kancolle Kai will not work. It will just give you an error message saying it’s not compatible. Considering that I have a number of games that do not work on the Vita TV, it was a disappointment.
Since the Vita TV killed off by Sony earlier this year, it’s expected that the compatibility will get worse. In short, I pulled the trigger to mod my older Vita and here are my thoughts.
Note: It’s not possible to obtain a Playstation Vita with a capture mod since the company behind it, Katsukity went out of business. This review will remain for historical purposes. No, the capture kit is not for sale.

Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru – Final Review
For a while, I felt that all the shows that tend to deal with mystery doesn’t quite live up to expectations since it takes a while until things become interesting. While shows like Hyouka and Gosick took a while to develop, they eventually became interesting towards the end.
At a glance, Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru feels somewhat similar to Gosick as the teenaged male protagonist plays a supporting role while the female lead is the main detective as they solve various mysteries.
