Back in 2011, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai was popular, but I didn’t get a chance to see it. With that, I finished watching the first season and really enjoyed it. (Image Source)

I’m a year late to the party, but I’m not going to miss out on this for any longer.
And yes, I was on vacation during the past two days. This can explain the inactivity because wireless Internet wasn’t free. Since I am back, its time to catch up.

I bet most people were expecting a second season of Idolmaster. Instead, we got this… (Image Source)

As 2012 finally comes to an end, I felt that this year is rather subdued for Anime. Although there were some Anime that received some rave reviews that I didn’t watch, I was still satisfied by what I have already watched. Not only that, I only dropped one show this year compared to two in 2011. Still, there were some disappointments, which I want to go over.
For now, I will list my top whatever lists of best Anime in 2012 along with some disappointing/worst ones. (Image Source)

Since I lacked any motivation yesterday because hardly anyone commented or read my last 12 days post, I decided to merge Day 11 and 12 into one post. For that, I’m putting a spotlight on two shows in this final 12 days of Anime, Papa Kikinasai and Chuunibyou. (Image Source)

As Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts trails in the polls against President Barack Obama days before the election, he tries to connect with the middle class, which he is losing support. Therefore, we got three questions from a financially struggling college student named Yuuta Segawa [1. I thought Papa Kiki was somewhat fitting for Romney since he is a Mormon] who is currently taking care of three young girls. He wants us to publish the answers on my blog. At the same time, I have asked Romney if he wants to answer them. He accepted the offer, so we are now revealing the answers to them.
Note: This is a satire piece and it’s not meant to offend anyone’s political positions.

I suddenly realized that I have nothing to write about for the next few days. So, I decided to start chipping away my ever-growing backlog.
With this episode, the spotlight is on Sora as she faces more stress than usual.

It finally ends with Taichi spilling the beans along with other stuff regarding Iori’s past.

After putting it off for several days, I wanted to let the drama settle before diving into the 9th episode. Since Dog Days aren’t out yet, I’m going to share brief thoughts for this episode and the bullying incident that everyone talked about in great lengths for the past week (Image Source).

Just recently, something has come into my mind about how parents raise their children in Anime after watching the 8th episode of Tari Tari. With the stereotype of Asian parents wanting their children to succeed such as the Tiger Mom and Eagle Dad, some of these stereotypes are also present in Anime. This is because Asian countries typically value education a lot, which is why they tend to rank high on science and math. For that, I’m going to explain what these terms mean with examples from various shows. (Image Source)

It seems that the Idolmaster goodness keeps on going. After watching Episode 15 and 16 despite Kevo ragequitting two times in the latter because of Jupiter, I decided to tackle the special I intend to cover this week. However, I did it one day early since Dog Days 2 subs are not out yet.

Despite being wrong with my prediction on what will happen to Inaba, the drama gets turned up to 11 as things hit a sour note.

Since summer break is coming to a close, I may as well share my midseason impressions on what I’m currently watching. (Image Source)
