Anime blog that focuses on Yuri and School Girl Slice of Life Anime and Editorials
While watching Dog Days, something came into my mind for another topic to write about from Anime regarding escapism. Although I analyzed Iyashikei’s escapism along with friendship and healing last far, of course adventure/fantasy shows such as the one I have mentioned and Sword Art Online has many elements of escapism though it’s setting, characters and their abilities. I’m just fascinated how they accomplish this aspect for these genres in general, which want me analyze them and share some thoughts about it focusing on a fantasy world called Flonyard. Since the London Summer Olympics began just a few days ago, I feel the need to finally watch the K-ON movie since it takes place in the same city. As hinted in the Episode 27 special, it’s quite obvious that the Light Music Club will go on a Graduation Trip and it actually happened. (Image Source)

Since there are two episodes left to catch up with, I may as well watch both of them and share my overall thoughts.

Becky must have played so much Touhou or something that she becomes good at using her powers on the first try.

Since Dog Days 2 Episode 3 isn’t coming out anytime soon, I want to focus on a show that has been talked about quite a lot in the blogosphere. That show is Kokoro Connect.

During the last season, there were two shows that focused on idol groups, each taking a different approach. Although I dropped AKB0048 since I didn’t like the AKB48, there is one show that intrigued me. This is mostly contributed to Natsuiro Kiseki’s (Lit: A Summer-colored Miracle) main cast consisted of members from Sphere. When I realized this, it already caught my attention. (Image Source)

Fate/zero and Natsuiro Kiseki may have brought us great finales, but there were other shows that I completely forgot about until now. These are the last episodes of Shining Hearts ~Shiawase no Pan~ and Mouretsu Pirates. Instead of writing two separate posts, I’ll just share my brief thoughts about these episodes and my overall impressions about each one. (Image Source)

I don’t know, but I haven’t had so much fun during a cultural festival episode.

Last summer, I watched the whole first season of Dog Days while on vacation in two days. Although the story was average, it’s still a fun experience as the characters had enjoyable personalities along with the idea of a friendly war. Despite the mundane ending, it was fun and had charm. With the second season, I expect things to become more exciting as Shinku brings his childhood friend, Becky with Shinku’s cousin, Nanami to that fantasy world.
