Tari Tari – Episode 10 – Wein’s Bravery and the Secret Behind Composing Music

September 2, 2012 by Chikorita157 4 Comments

Sawa’s mother is just crazy…

Because of the e-drama involving Kokoro Connect, I decided to hold off on it until later this week. For now, the focus is on that super-hero skit while Wanaka asks for advice from the vice principal, Naoko about composing music.

First of all, Wein is amazing. Although the other members looked kind of flaky at first, the villains made the skit more exciting for the audience. Of course, Sawa’s mother joining in after one of the guys sprained his back made it more enjoyable. Still, the highlighting part of the episode is Wein himself. When the thief stole Konatsu’s bag, he chased after the man. Even after he got beaten up, he still got up and started to sing. With the power of music, it overwhelms the thief and caused him to surrender. The Wein’s actions were brave since it’s somewhat dangerous. Thankfully he managed to pull through at the end while making a good story for the local newspaper.

If you replace Mahiru with Wanaka, you will still have a similar effect.

Besides the action hero stuff, I noticed that Wakana’s resemblance to her mother continues to startle the vice principal. Yes, Naoko helped Mahiru when she helped with the composition back in her high school years, but some things just stays the same. Besides turning off the tape recorder rather quickly, she knew the secret behind Mahiru’s music composing. It apparently comes from the heart. How can it be so obvious from the beginning? Even with that conversation, it seems that Wakana’s “thank you” at the end caught her off guard even more with her tearing up in the hallway. I suppose Wakana realize by now that she has more of her mother’s traits than she first realized.

I think the resemblance is getting to Naoko’s mind, don’t you think?

With everything set, I think Wakana is finally ready to work on the unfinished piece. The only thing left to do is to make the script, decide on the costumes/props and get the thing started. Even so, I can’t help to think that Naoko loosened up a bit despite not knowing what the proposal the principal approved was all about. From the looks of the workers outside, it looks faintly ominous. However, I think she will pull through and fight to end this evil, but unknown proposal that will affect the entire school forever.

Loved this episode. The ridiculous singing ending made me lol. Naoko is b****. The writers are going to try to redeem her character but I think she is beyond redemption at this point.

That singing was awesomely placed at the end. Still, I can’t really blame the vice principal since she thinks that music is serious business. But still, it seems like Mahiru is wearing on her and who knows… Wakana will have the same effect on her although she doesn’t have all of her mother’s traits.

Those construction workers at the end were “troubling”, what are they going to demolish/build in that place? Is the whole school in trouble? Still some weeks to get some info…

I’m wondering about that since the vice principal is very anxious about it. I think she might have a plan to reverse it, but I’m not sure until the last remaining episodes air.
