With winter is ending very soon, it’s time to share some shows I plan to cover. Of course, since there is a lot of shows, understandably I won’t be covering everything. As always, this list is subject to change. Also, I will share some site updates as well.
Machikado Mazoku 2-choume
Air Date: April 8, 2022
Studio: JC Staff
When this show announced a second season in 2020, it got me excited. The first season was very enjoyable and had a lot of funny and cute moments with Shamiko and Momo. Given what happened in the last episode, I just wonder how many lovely moments they will have in the second season. Of course, I haven’t gotten that far in the manga, but I can imagine how things will go from here.
RPG Fudousan
Air Date: April 6, 2022
Studio: Doga Kobo
As expected, this is another Manga Time Kiara story, which is set in a fantasy world. Kotone, who graduated from a school. Of course, she finds her new place of work at RPG Fudousan where three other girls work. Given that Doga Kobo is working on this production, I can expect that this show will be a solid comedy.
Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Second Season
Air Date: April 2, 2022
Studio: Sunrise
While I haven’t covered the first season since I was covering 5 shows, I do plan to cover the second season this time around. From the looks of it, three more newcomers are joining, Shioriko, Mia, and Lanzhu. Either way, it will be nice to see more Ayumu and Yu, hopefully.
This reminds me, I bought their live performance Blu-rays that I need to get around watching.
Magia Record Season 3
Air Date: March 31, 2022
Sudio: Shaft
As expected, it seems that Shaft is facing development hell, which caused the second season to have only nine episodes. The third season was supposed to air this Winter, but it got pushed back to the spring. Since it’s only a few episodes, I will still cover it.
The last half focuses on what Touka and Nemu planned along. This may reveal some clues behind Ui’s disappearance as we head to the conclusion of the first arc. Also, I wonder what the fate of Kuroe is as well.
As for the fourth show, I am deciding between are Birdie Wing and Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road, depends on the premiere and what I want to cover. Cue is a carryover from the last season.
Shows that I will be watching, but not cover (review only): Shachiku-san wa Youjo Yuurei ni Iyasaretai, Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita. r=1-sinθ (Heart). I plan to release the review of the first season Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita sometime this month.
Life Updates
As expected, things are a big mess now. Sure, winter did not pan out in terms of number of comments received compared to last year, but hopefully it will be better in the future.
Either way, with Covid infections declining, there is that talk of the return of the office. Sure, thanks to current events, gas prices have spiked. While I don’t really do much driving these days as the train station is close and I just drive there and take mass transit to get to work. I do plan to switch to an electric car in 1 to 2 years.
As mentioned, a few months earlier, I have mobile hotspot data, so I will at least be able to watch and begin writing these posts. Still, my workplace still hasn’t announced a date yet. But once I know, I will make some type of an announcement, which may affect how many posts I will get out.
With that, what shows are you planning to watch in the Spring? Feel free to share them in the comments.
