Selection Project – Episode 12 – The Unfortunate Accident Before the Final Live

December 18, 2021 by Chikorita157 2 Comments

This already foreshadows the worst case scenario..

Now that 9-tie’s performance made a huge splash, Jun offered them a second chance. However, something unexpected happened to Suzune on the day of the actual live stream.

As expected, the girls finally made a final preparation as the live stream is about to happen. If you recall from the small segment after the credits, it seems that Suzune feels a bit off. Of course, Suzune thought nothing of it as she prepared for the final live.

Rena eventually saw her practicing her singing on the beach. It’s obvious that Suzune wants to work hard and make the live a success. I find it interesting that she wakes up early before the alarm goes off on the day of a big event. Makes you wonder if there was a point to setting the alarm in the first place.

Sadly, it happened as Suzune collapsed.

However, this is where the trouble started. Rena noticed that Suzune tripped for a moment. Of course, Suzune and Rena didn’t think much of it. I guess Suzune doesn’t want to get Rena worried. In the bedroom, Suzune continues her stretches as Ao heads out. When Suzune drank her water, she eventually collapsed. After Rena came up to Suzune’s bedroom, she becomes worried.

When she opened the door, she saw Suzune collapsed on the floor. Thankfully, an ambulance came on time to take her to the hospital. Of course, Rena came along with Sunny as she seems worried. Yes, the girls heard the news, which got them worried.

Rena finds out that Sunny is the CEO of the production company. She feels remorseful about the day Akari died in an accident.

At the hospital, Suzune was admitted. We find out that Sunny is the CEO of Production Select and reveals this fact to Rena. Of course, Jun made it somewhat oblivious to the viewers as they were calling her. I have a feeling since she looked awfully familiar and had a familiar voice in the last episode.

Sunny eventually revealed the truth in the hospital room when Rena came over. She felt remorseful letting Akari go home on her own instead of taking her there herself. She decided to look after the girls after the incident as she doesn’t want the same situation to happen again.

The girls trying their hardest to prolong the live stream so Rena and Suzune can make it back.

Aside from that, the first two groups performed and had a chat session. That way, it can bide some time for Suzune and Rena and they don’t have to cancel the live. Also, Jun put together a long montage video of the girls’ journey. It’s obvious that Jun and Sunny really want to make the girls’ dream a reality. Of course, the girls wouldn’t have gotten here without Rena and Suzune of course.

Will dream Akari lend a hand so Suzune can wake up. We’ll see soon enough.

In the dream after the credits, she wakes up and sees a girl that looks like Akari. I guess she will give Suzune the push she needs to wake up. We’ll see what happens next in the final episode.

More intense drama. Hope things go well for Suzune in her literal heart to heart talk.

Yes, it was a very emotional episode, but hopefully it ends up with a good ending for Suzune and the group.
