Puraore! Pride of Orange – Episode 10 – Reunion with Mami

December 8, 2021 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
It’s obvious that Manaka was waiting for this moment.

Mami finally pays a visit to see Manaka and her friends in Nikko. How well did her visit go?

Mami sees Yu for the first time.

Sure, Manaka was emotional when she skipped out saying goodbye to Mami. With Mami paying a visit, Manaka seems excited, especially since Mami is finally coming back to visit her. Not only that, but she also gets to visit Dream Monkeys and practice with them. She of course showed what she is capable of by shooting a puck into the goal. Surprisingly, she did it in one shot, which amazed everyone. Not too surprising since she is on one of the best teams. Of course, Mami introduces herself to Yu.

It’s obvious that Manaka is up to no good.

After practice, they hanged out like old times. They eventually hang out at the café that Ayaka used to fear walking the stairs to. Yep, it’s because of Manaka frightening her during her childhood regarding a mythical raccoon. Thankfully, with Mami around, Ayaka was able to climb the stairs. Still, it’s obvious that childhood friends play a big role, except for Yu perhaps.

It’s obvious that the problem exists in Snow White.

Still, it’s surprising that they didn’t show the second game. They won away, but I guess it’s not too important as. As for Snow White, they won their second game against Polar Bear. It’s obvious that Maya is dominating the weaker teams.

Of course, this causes Eri to become worried that her teammates are over-relying on Maya. She feels that the team can’t make it to Rank A at this rate. After all, Maya can slip up or get injured during the match. Without her, this can put them at a huge disadvantage. While her coach is worried about Eri acting strangely, Eri shared her concerns. Still, I have a feeling that the coach is all in on Maya and depends on her to get back into the A rank. In other words, Eri must take things in her own hands.

Gotta love the moments between Riko and Naomi.

Besides Mami catching up on how the embroidery club is doing among other thing, we learn more about her. When Manaka lost the punishment game, thus she went out to buy snacks. Mami tagged along talking about her experiences with her new ice hockey team. Apparently, she thinks about quitting ice hockey since she hardly gets to play due to her skill level. As a result, she is losing confidence, especially since she is not close with her new teammates and have hardly any friends.

Manaka had a nice talk with Mami.

Of course, Manaka encourages her as she knows how good Mami’s skills are. With that, she pushes her to stick with it so her team can face off hers. That is, when they win A rank. Of course, she also had fun playing with Mami in ice hockey, which reminded her of the first day. Hopefully Manaka can make this a reality, but they need to win the B rank tournament first.

Eri receives the courage to talk to Yu.

With that, Manaka and her friends say goodbye to Mami as she heads back home. Of course, Eri finally decides to call Yu. I wonder how this call will go. Also, will Dream Moneys beat Snow White? We’ll see next time.

Though for sure Mami joined Snow White but nope. Good to see Manaka and her make a promise to face each other in the future. Looking forward to the tournament finals next time.

If that happened, I bet that Youko would know if that happened. Still, the finals should be interesting.
