Blue Reflection Ray – Episode 23 – Entering the Common to Save Shino

September 17, 2021 by Chikorita157 2 Comments

As always, Niina is there to fend off Uta.

Now that Hiori and her friends finds out Shino’s dark past, they want to save her. However, Uta decides to find and eliminate the fragment of Shino.

Yep, Uta finding and eliminating the fragment of Shino comes at no surprise. It contains the feelings that Shino traumatizing past no thanks to her terrible mother. Eventually, Nina came to fend off Uta.

Momo deals the last blow.

Obviously, she is not enjoying the pain that Nina is inflicting on her. After all, it was missing the despair from the Red Team. Not only that, Uta is not happy that Nina redeemed herself. Thankfully, Miyako hits Uta with a frying pan, which knocks her out.

Hiori is happy that Niina is now on the blue team.

The funny thing is that Uta is going to be in the game. However, she is not going to be her crazed masochistic self. Also, this could be a reason why Niina is not going to be in the game, more on that later. Still, what is interesting is that Niina’s ring turns blue and Hiori is happy for some reason. I wonder why?

With fragment Shino safe, Hiori, Ruka, Momo, Mio, Niina and Ryoka goes to the Common with Fragment Shino. They find themselves in a desolate ruin. As expected, Hiori and her friends see Yuzu and Lime defeated by Shino.

It’s obvious to see why Momo and Mio are a power couple.
Sadly, Niina didn’t make it.

Of course, fragment creatures start to attack them, but thankfully Mio and Momo defeated it. However, we face our first casualty as a fragment being takes Niina’s fragment as she goes unconscious. Now, we know why she won’t be in the game, but Uta will. Of course, there will be more instances of this as Hiori and her friends advance further into Shino’s consciousness.

In Shino’s world, she manages to bring back Netzach.

In that familiar rose garden, the roses attacked Hiori and her friends. Mio and Momo stays behind and manages to eliminate the roses. Of course, the roses turn into the Sephira, Netzach that Mio and Momo failed to defeat. It’s obvious that this is coming from Momo’s consciousness. Of course, Momo stays behind as Mio catches up to the others. We know that Momo won’t make it, unless said otherwise.

After Hiori repelled the fragments of girls trying to get Fragment Shino, they find themselves in the place with lava. This represents Shino’s anger. Hiori and her friends need to jump into the lava to get to Shino.

As expected, Ryoka lost will to fight after seeing Amiru again, alive this time.

Of course, Amiru shows up to Ryoka’s delight. Yes, it’s a trap as she is there to eliminate Shino. As expected, Ryoka chases after her, but notice her ring turns blue. I have a feeling that once the reflector resolves the thing that caused their despair, they are kicked out of the red team. Of course, a fake Mio appears, but it’s obvious that she is fake and Ruka eliminated her.

Now, Ruka and Hiori is at the lair. Can she reunite Fragment Shino to Shino?

With that, they arrive at the lair where the actual Shino exists. This makes me wonder how Ruka and Hiori will bring the actual Shino back to her senses and save the world. Also, Mio manages to reunite with Hiori and Ruka. We’ll find out soon enough and get a hint of the new world in Tie/Second Light in the finale.

Miyako knocking Uta out with a frying pan was excellent.

Hopefully Niina and the Amiru will be saved in the finale and we won’t have to play the game to learn of their ultimate fates.

Cool final dungeon this was. Final boss next time.
