While Kanon struggles to create lyrics for the new song, Chisato feels uneasy before the competition.
In a flashback, three girls bullies Chisato during her childhood. It’s because she came to the park without permission. Of course, the girls claim it as they stole one of Chisato’s hair tie. They demand the other one as payment as Chisato starts crying. Of course, Kanon comes to protect her and got the hair ties back. Not only that, Kanon helped her when she tripped and fell to the ground. This makes it obvious that they become best friends.
Meanwhile, Kanon, Sumire, and Keke get the training plan from Yuuna and Mao. The funny thing is that Sumire tries to escape from the hell training by claiming time to fix her hair. Of course, Yuuna and Mao finds out firsthand that Keke lacks stamina.
This is not too surprising when she began training with Chisato. Thankfully, a Sunny Paradise performance was enough to fix this. Also, they showed Kanon and her friends the stage they will perform at. I find it cute how Keke sets up controllable stage lights after the stage set is done.
Meanwhile, Chisato is practicing. It’s obvious that something is on her mind as Ren comes in. She checked on her while noticing that Kanon and her friends are missing. It’s obvious that Ren seems worried although she denies it. When Chisato tried to put something back in her bag, her bag spilled, and Ren looked at a school withdraw application. It’s obvious that she feels uneasy without Kanon although dancing is something she wants to achieve without her.
As expected, Ren becomes worried after seeing that withdraw application. In the next day, she practiced ballet in the same room that Chisato is practicing in. Obviously, Ren is acting suspicious. Yep, she is not hiding this fact at all. Thankfully, Chisato revealed that if she doesn’t win the contest, she will quit the school.
Of course, Ren doesn’t get why although she finds out the reason behind Chisato’s plan. Chisato revealed that during elementary school, children bullied her relentlessly. However, Kanon is the only one that protected her and became friends with her.
It becomes somewhat obvious that Chisato wants to prove herself to Kanon she can do something on her own. Hance, her participation in a dance competition. Until then, she won’t become a school idol as she doesn’t believe she can help Kanon.
Sure, Chisato shows some nervousness on the day of the competition. After she looked at her phone, Kanon appeared in front of her. It’s obvious that she wants to come as moral support and tell how much she admires her. Of course, Chisato wanted to do something without Kanon.
As expected, Kanon wants to admit that Chisato helped her too, but Chisato thinks it’s on Kanon. Thankfully, they settled on helping each other. Not too surprising as they use each other strengths to support each other.
In the end, things work out in the end. Chisato wins the competition and she along with her friends performed a song together. Yep, it looks like Chisato is quitting the special school to become a school idol. I wonder when Ren will give in and join? It’s only a matter of time.
