Blue Reflection Ray – Episode 7 – The Truth About Mio and Blue Team Big Defeat

May 24, 2021 by Chikorita157 1 Comment

Ruka and Hiori becomes suspicious of Momo acting strangely.

After Nina did the ceremony with Mio, Momo saw a memory of Mio that she forgot. Of course, it all goes downhill from here for the blue team, especially for Hiori.

Uta pokes fun of Nina being in a daze.

After the connection with Mio, it’s obvious that Nina is not herself. Yes, Uta poked fun at Niina not being herself. Of course, Niina becomes disturbed to find out that Mio is Hiori’s older sister. Obviously, there is going to be some jealousy since she doesn’t like that Hiori is Mio’s little sister.

It’s surprising that Mio used to care about others, especially her little sister. What went wrong?
Obviously, this is why Nina resents Hiori.

Not to mention, she witnessed one of Mio’s memory of that rainy day during Tanabata. Mio’s and Hiori’s mother are still working overseas. Mio came back home as Hiori brings the wishes inside. While Hiori is disappointed that they can’t see the the Milky Way, Mio takes her little sister up to the rooftop garden.  Mio asks if Hiori heard the tears of joy, but neither did. However, she thinks that they can see it since the rain is like it. It’s obvious that Nina doesn’t like how close Mio was with Hiori. After all, she suffered a life of her mother abusing her.

Uta is already there, finding her next target.

Aside from that, Miyako did some more detective work in tracking down Kana. Apparently, she will be at the festival to have her sorrows taken away by Uta. They try to tack down Uta, but one of the dorms mates’ tasks Ruka to buy some shaved ice. Yes, not the best situation given that Uta is there at large trying to find Kana.  I guess they must make the best of the situation.

When Ruka arrives at the convivence store, she heard Momo yelling at the AASA people. Not the best time, but Ruka hears a bombshell that involves Hiori’s older sister. This is when Momo saw Ruka as she walks out of the break room.

Momo hits a fever pitch in dealing with Ruka asking about Mio.

Things got tense as Ruka asks Momo about Mio. After all, Ruka is Hiori’s partner. Of course, Momo reveals that Mio was her partner and revealed that she fought against Mio and told her about the memories. She also knows that Nina and Uta is working with Mio. The only proof Momo has is that she resonated with Mio.

Of course, Momo doesn’t want to be the one that tells Hiori the truth about her sister. Even a few episodes back, Momo is reluctant since she is afraid that Hiori will react poorly. This can explain why she wants Ruka to break the news.

Nina really hates Hiori that much she wanted to kill her. Thankfully, it didn’t happen.

Eventually, Uta got to Kana and takes out her fragment crystal. While Hiori transforms and try to fight Uta. Niina attacks Uta so she can face off against Hiori. It’s obvious that jealousy and resentment is in her eyes for obvious reasons. Thankfully, Mio stopped Nina from killing Hiori as she takes the fragment from Kana and leaves.

Hiori seeing her older sister not only being on the dark side is hard enough, she takes the fragment.

Overall, this is a big defeat for the blue team. As expected, Hiori doesn’t take what Mio did to the girl well, the sad thing is that she wished to meet her sister again. Hiori seeing her older sister on the opposite team stealing away fragments is what she doesn’t expect. With the schoolgirls saying that it’s better to have their bad feelings taken away instead of kept, the red team is really rubbing it in.

Being Hiori is suffering.

Even so, I wonder, why Mio needs all those fragments? I wonder, why Mio abandoned Momo? Also, I find it very suspicious how AASA is hiding what happened to Mio that day. Maybe they don’t know or that they are doing something very suspicious. I guess we can only find out in due time.
