If you are wondering why Midori is so rich, her family apparently owns a ultra-luxurious hotel chain.
With Midori’s employment nearing an end, she reveals that someone is driving her home. In other words, she is going back to her home, which happens to be a famous hotel that her family owns. There is what Midori meant that she is rich. There is no wonder she has all that money to buy takeout for Misha every day along with the all the fancy Gothic Lolita fashion.
The funny thing is that while Misha and Tsubame stay over, we learn that Midori didn’t like her sheltered life. This is surprising since her parents wanted to pick her as the heir of the family’s business. She could have an easy life. Sadly, she couldn’t handle such a life. This can explain everything about her decision to join the JSDF and her masochistic personality along with being unable to wear the type of clothing Tsubame prefers. Also, Midori apparently wears a wig to make her hair match the clothing she typically wears.
As expected, Midori wants to sleep on the floor although Misha wants her to sleep on the bed. This is mostly because she wants to use her as a separator between Tsubame. As expected, Midori’s nose started to bleed. It’s obvious why! She is sleeping right next to her crush, Tsubame. Still, Misha’s reaction when she saw blood on the sheet and pillows near where Midori is sleeping was hilarious. Too bad Midori doesn’t have any hope of winning Tsubame’s heart, even if Misha wants Tsubame to marry Midori. It’s quite obvious that Tsubame won’t change her mind as she still loves Misha.
Aside from that, after having breakfast, which Misha loved, they explored the aquarium, planetarium and spent time in the pool. I find it funny how Midori tries to make a fool of herself. While some will be disappointed with how the pool scene went, I guess it’s something.
With Midori jobless soon, somehow, she moved right next to where Misha is living. It’s obvious that she hasn’t given up on Tsubame no matter how many times she rejects her. Despite Midori’s masochistic tendencies, she is born lucky. She manages to invest her severance pay thinking she would lose it all on the foreign exchange. Somehow, she became crazy rich instead and didn’t know how she did it. It makes me wondered if she actually invested in foreign currencies or in Bitcoin and sold it all when it went high. Either way, she started a maid cleaning business, which is not surprising since she is great at cleaning.
As for the second half, not much to say except Tsubame freaking out and found out that she had Misha’s underwear in her pocket that she intended to hang out to dry. Nonetheless, I find it funny how Misha’s hamsters stole Tsubame’s underwear while she is in the bath to use it as a mat. Still, Tsubame accuses Midori of doing it. This is bound to happen, but then again, she probably wears the same style for obvious reasons.
Midorin has been a godsend to the show. Best episode thus far.
Also, Misha’s advice for Tsubame to marry Midori is quite obvious too. Too bad Tsubame will never accept her feelings for obvious reasons. Still, it’s nice to learn more about Midori and her family.
