Comic Girls – Episode 7 – Kaoruko’s Quest to Become Mature

May 17, 2018 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
Kaoruko is willing to help her new friend out.

At last, Kaoruko goes to Akihabara. It’s obvious how everything turns out.

Recently, Koyume managed to get a serialized series, despite being a short one. When Kaoruko found out, she becomes upset. When she goes upstairs, she saw that Nyaos is scared, she runs into Fuura. Fuura apparently has manuscripts that she needs to finish. Kaoruko decides to help her. Kaoruko goes up into the attic where she saw Fuura’s room filled with scary stuff and dolls. Eventually, Fuura teaches her how to draw backgrounds and also learned that Fuura’s roommate left her without contact. Kaoruko sympathizes with her, until Fuura says that she won’t let her leave, thus causing a misunderstanding with Rukki.

After seeing how good Rukki looks with glasses on, Kaoruko wants to buy a pair of her own. She goes to Akihabara and becomes amazed, especially after seeing a figurine on display. While looking at a figure display, she uttered out mother and father, which makes the customer believe that she is lost. She eventually buys a figurine of Ruka along with other goodies. After walking out of the store, a police woman come up to her and wondered if she is lost. Kaoruko thought that the police woman will arrest her and hid in a box. Thankfully, her friend from Kaoruko’s tweets. Kaoruko eventually shows the figurine and her friends find it cute.

Eventually, she went to a glasses shop to find a pair of glasses with her friends. Nijino and Mayu shows up. Kaouko is still having trouble picking a frame. Mau eventually reveals that she got glasses so she can watch Anime clearly. Kaoruko decides to get a pair and becomes astounded by how clear everything is. When she went to draw, the glasses brought out the flaws in her drawing. With that, she puts it in the drawer.

Kaoruko seems to like Fuura’s teaching.

At last, we see more Kaoruko and Fuura moments. While Fuura still scares Kaoruko sometimes, Kaoruko finally realizes that the dolls and even Fuura’s drawing aren’t as scary. It’s amazing how Fuura and Kaoruko have a lot in common as seen with Fuura’s first draft manuscript. It looks just as bad as Kaoruko’s and doesn’t look very scary. Still, it’s nice to see Fuura teaching Kaoruko to draw better backgrounds.

Rukki comes to rescue Kaoruko.
It’s obvious to see who is envious here.
Despite liking Fuura’s mature appearance, it seems that Kaoruko likes girls with ponytails and glasses.

Like last time, there is a lot of Kaoruko and Fuura moments. It’s shows especially when Kaoruko reaffirmed her friendship with Fuura. Yes, Fuura wants to make sure that Kaoruko will never leave. Thankfully, it’s nice to see Rukki to come to the rescue to save Kaoruko. Still, obvious that Kaoruko still prefers Rukki thanks to her glasses.

Koyume crying over something she lost. It’s obvious what she lost.
It’s funny how the grandmothers still treat Kaoruko as a child despite being 16 years old.
Kaoruko in awe with a figure.
Oh no, a police woman caught Kaoruko’s attention!
Kaoruko’s friends coming to the rescue.

If you read my review of the first volume of the manga, I mentioned the chapter where Kaoruko goes to Akihabara. At last, that chapter finally made it to the anime and as expected, plays out exactly the same from the manga. It’s hilarious how the police woman thought that Kaoruko is lost. I guess saying mother and father while having a child-like appearance can create a big misunderstanding. Thankfully, her friends found out where Kaoruko is thanks to her tweets. Opps!

Nijino definitely looks great with glasses on.

Lastly, there is the glasses shopping. It’s quite amazing how Nijino wants to buy glasses so she can become more teacher-like. It’s not surprising since she looks great in them. Still, it’s funny how Mayu tells her not to buy glasses for the sake of cosplaying. Also, it’s funny how Mayu decided to get glasses after squinting during her last year of high school. Yes, she wanted to see the full detail of anime. It’s obvious that Kaoruko will go for it for that reason alone. Still, I have to admit that I did the same thing as Mayu during high school since I didn’t want to wear glasses. It’s because of the fear of being bullied. Of course, I wore them during my college classes and I still put them on when I drive.

Kaoruko is amazed that her vision is so clear that everything looks better.

Aside from that, it’s obvious that Kaoruko collects figurines that look like Rukki. It’s not surprising since she has a thing for mature-looking women. Thankfully, Kaoruko doesn’t have to hide her interests anymore since her friends seems okay with it.

KAOS X Suzu got some more steam this episode and I am cool with that. Ruki’s rival is formidable but she has some weapons to fight back. Best of luck to her.

KAOS is a wonderful little lesbian just like the rest of her friends.

KAOS’ Editor X Miss Nijimi eh? Very interesting. Yeeeeeesssssss…

Koyume got an orgasm seeing Tsubasa with her “cool” shades.

Yes, it’s nice to see more Kaoruko and Suzu. Maybe Ruki’s glasses will pull Kaoruko back.

It’s interesting to see Mayu have a thing for Nijino. It’s possible that she might have a thing for her, especially after what happened in the 5th episode.

As always, Koyume seems to have a crush on Tsubasa.
