Now that exams are over, Nina and Lion spend time with each other as their friends go back home for the holidays.
Now that the girls celebrated Christmas, most of them decided to go back home. This leaves Nina all alone until she opens the door to her room. It seems that Lion stay behind since she wants to keep Nina company. Lion even offers mikan and invites her to use the Kotatsu to stay warm. The funny thing is that Nina didn’t want to do it at first, but eventually did so. In the end, Lion loses a singing match to Nina after laughing. With that, she had to get up and open the door.

The funny thing is that she finds a box of red king crabs. Of course, they cooked it without realizing that it’s Rino’s, one of their teachers. I guess her surprise for Kagura is now messed up. Still, it’s funny how Lion and Nina cover it up by sticking crab sticks into the shell of the crab they ate. It’s obvious that they will eventually find out since fake crab taste different.

After eating the New Year’s soba, Nina and Lion goes outside on the balcony. Once the clock hit midnight, Lion kisses Nina on the lips. Apparently, it’s a tradition from Lion’s country. Who knows, it’s most likely romantic, especially considering what happens in the second half.

In the second half, Lion make some Valentines chocolates with Yayoi and Yuko. The funny thing is that Lion accidentally breaks the oven by mixing up the time and temperature. I have to admit that this is silly, but things got crazier after Mahiro tries to fix it. Eventually, the oven went haywire and Nina stopped it with her arrow. What she didn’t know that the arrow will cause crazy things to happen.

After Nina took a bite of the chocolate, she started acting crazy. It seems as if she became infatuated with Lion. It’s bound to happen, but I never thought it will happen this quickly. Apparently, the arrow contains cupid’s powers and it transferred it to the food while in the oven.

Of course, Mahiro tried it out of curiosity and she fell in love with Yayoi. Does this mean that Mahiro and Yayoi is canon since they are childhood friends? Of course, Karen and Karin joins in on the fun too. As for Mizuki, she ate the chocolate and confessed to Yuko. Too bad Yuko is too obvious to her confession that she ignored it. Even with this opportunity, Mizuki’s bad luck caught up to her.

After all the chaos, Nina finally gives Lion the chocolates. Afterwards, Lion hugs Nina while declaring love towards her. This just shows that the relationship between Lion and Nina just went to another level. They are now more than just best friends. Aside from that, it’s funny how Mahiro continues to touch Yayoi’s hair. It’s not surprising since Yayoi’s hair is pretty.

Nina and Lion are now a couple. Nuff said.
Yayoi has a harem. She is best girl after all.
Poor Mizuki can’t catch a break. That or it’s karma for being a little creepy. Either way it’s sad that she’s still having trouble.
Hopefully by show’s end the teachers will also have hooked up.
I guess the 9th episode did wonders, but I’m happy that Lion and Nina is now official. Of course, Yayoi’s harem keeps growing…
It seems that Mizuki has terrible luck lately. Maybe she needs to change her approach. Maybe once they graduate, she might become lucky to get Yuko to finally recognize her feelings.
