Now that Loki decided on going on an expedition to the 59th floor, is her familia ready?
Now that Loki talked with some of the top members of her familia, they decide on an expedition. With that, Lefiya seems ready for the expedition with her training showing a lot of improvement thanks to Filvis’s help. Now, she doesn’t get defeated by Aiz anymore. Lefiya should be happy, right? Not really as she runs into Bell and tells him off. It’s obvious that the rivalry won’t end anytime soon since Bell also improved his skill too.
In the last episode, it seems a bunch of cloaked men ambushes Aiz. It’s obvious that they don’t want Aiz go on an expedition to the 59th floor. This seems very suspicious since the Freya is trying to sabotage the expedition.
This makes you wonder, is she trying to hide something? As seen later with the Minotaur, they are not interested in Aiz, but instead in Bell. This can explain why Ottar decides to challenge Aiz to a duel. Thankfully, other members of her expedition group came in time so they can save Bell.
Aside from that, with all the preparations done, it’s time for the Loki’s Familia to start their expedition. It seems that Hephaestus is tagging along on the expedition. It’s not surprising since their weapons might need repair during the expedition. Either way, Lefiya and Aiz are in different groups to their dismay. Thankfully, they will meet up on Level 18 before heading to the 59th floor. Still, it’s nice for Lulune to see off Aiz and Lefiya while giving them rations. Still, I wonder why Lulune gave a necklace to Aiz. We’ll find out the meaning behind it soon.
In the last half, aside from Aiz confronting Ottar, Bell fighting a strong Minotaur. If you watched the main series, you already know how it ended. Aiz does not intervene since Bell doesn’t want her to save him. He manages to defeat the Minotaur with effort thanks to his overpowered Argonaut skill. Shortly after, he collapses. With that, Aiz and Riveria rushes Bell and Lilli out of the dungeon and tell Hestia what happened.
With that, it seems that the expedition is off to a rocky start. It’s not surprising since getting to the 59th floor is already an ambitious goal. Given Freya’s actions, it’s becoming obvious that she doesn’t want Aiz to find something out. What is it? We’ll find out soon enough.
