At last, Kodaira finally start the happiness training, but will Hibari be held back by her friends as they play a real life dice game?
From the looks of it, this episode basically features a real life board game where the player has to get to the finish line. While it’s apparent that Hanako and Botan might drag Hibari down, it’s not about who gets out of the maze first, but rather not being in last place. If a team is dead last, there is a nasty punishment that awaits them and you don’t want to know.
Aside from that, the red hair girl who tends to lose her sense of direction finally reveals her name. Yep, her name is Hagyu Hibiki. From looking at her, she has a slight resemblance to Sharo thanks to her hair style. Aside from that, she has an inflated ego, especially towards Hibari. However, she is sweet towards Ren who she has a crush on. Sadly, she won’t admit her feelings even though it’s obvious from the blushing.
In short, that got Hibiki and Ren into trouble aside from getting themselves stuck in the infinite loop part the maze. Is this caused by Hibiki’s overconfidence? Who knows, but she will definitely look cute in a bunny outfit, although Hibari already looks pretty in it. Talking about cosplay, Hibiki is a bear, Ren as a tiger and lastly, Botan is a large squid. As for Hanako, she didn’t get to cosplay at all.
I find it funny that they never got out of the infinite loop that the teacher had to come in and take them out and decide which team is dead last with the final three challenges. First was a bread eating race and of course, only Hibari (who ironically got first place), Ren and Hibiki made it. Second was the pocky eating contest, which had a lot of yuri potential. We almost had it with Hibiki and Ren, except that Ren cracked the stick. Maybe it has to deal with Ren’s trouble with women? Still she will eventually get over it with Hibiki’s help. Last was the quiz, and Hibari’s team managed to mess that up too despite the question being largely towards their favor.
The funny thing is that Hanako basically sabotaged her team from winning. Aside from eating the stick in one gulp, Hibari was prepared to say the embarrassing answer regarding her strange fetish towards a certain construction sign until Hanako blurted out something random. In short, they lost and Hibiki and Ren won. Then again, their victory for 2nd to dead last is not good either since they close to being dead last. There is one good thing, at least they won’t be receiving a punishment next time.
While Hibari probably fears the penalty they will receive, I won’t be surprised if it will be very harsh considering how evil the teacher is. Still, I can’t help but to feel bad for Botan given how many injuries she sustained. Hopefully someday, her regeneration abilities will improve enough so that she won’t get injured so much, if at all. Aside from that, Hanako is basically the deadweight of the group given her luck or rather the inability to realize that she is just plain unlucky. Despite all this, she is still endearing. Hopefully someday, she will overcome this and find out that one can’t stay unlucky forever.
Let’s cheer Hibiki on. One day her love will reach Ren…one day.
Also shipping Hanako X Hibari.
Evil-Sensei is still evil.
Lastly Botan is and always will be love.
I hope so too so that Ren can finally resolve her problems with women, by falling in love with Hibiki.
Still, I wonder what is the punishment, probably something bad.
