Haifuri – Episode 3 – Escaping from Murphy’s Law

It seems that Mishiro does have a softer side.

After managing to escape from an unexpected attack by another school while saving another girl, they are running out of options. Since they are marked fugitives, what will Akeno do now?

Yep, she finally woke up and is not happy with the crew's incompetence.
Yep, she finally woke up and is not happy with the crew’s incompetence on this ship.

From the looks of it, things are getting worse and it’s not because of Mishiro’s terrible luck. It seems that the principal at their school is in a tough position because of a big misunderstanding regarding the Harekaze attacking the instructor’s ship without knowing what actually happen. In short, she has to do something before this incident is recognized as a large-scale insurrection with all of her school’s ship being seized or worse, sunk by authorities. In other words, this will truly be considered a large-scale attempt of mutiny, even if the other ships are not involved.

Yep, she is helping them get out of trouble too.
Yep, she is helping them get out of trouble too.

To make matters worse, Akeno is barred from docking at any port and of course, there is an order to sink the Harekaze. Given that there is a submarine from an all-boys high school coming to sink them for some bounty, things are taking a turn for the worse. In short, the girls are in a very sticky situation. Since most of the crew are freshmen and therefore unexperienced, they obviously made themselves an easy target against the other ships.

It seems that Wihelmina became friends with Akeno rather quickly.
It seems that Wihelmina became friends with Akeno rather quickly.

Thankfully, the girl who Akeno saved last time, Wihelmina helped them escape from the submarine. She has a lot of experience, which is not so surprising since she was the deputy captain from the Graf Spee, which apparently gone rogue after an electrical failure. Her captain basically told her to escape and tell the other ships about the phenomena. Either way, it seems that Akeno managed to become friendly with her, especially considering that Wihelmina’s school was going to the same point for the same exercise before this happened.

It looks like all the girls find out about Mishiro's softer side underneath her aloofness.

While Moeka didn’t receive any help obviously, we now know that the incident that might have caused the instructor’s ship to attack the Harekaze is not foul play or a conspiracy that push them to commit munity. I won’t be surprised if the instructor’s ship lost control in the same manner as Wihelmina’s with the crew members disobeying and deciding to attack other school ships. Either way, it seems that all the school’s ships are going back and hopefully they can resolve all of this. After all, does it seem strange that half of the ships the school owns lost all communication?  I do.

Mi-chan is pretty cool and is fetching.

Jerky Pants liking plushies is fine.

I’m obviously very interested in finding out what’s been happening all this time and hope our heroines will make it back in one piece.

It’s not so surprising since Mi is attractive and experienced as well. But still, I think things will hopefully get resolved soon, unless its something mysterious that is happening that the girls and the school does not know about.
