As the girls saw the academy get decimated, only a tiny glimmer of hope remains.
Compared to the last episode, this one felt rather subdued since the entire school got leveled to the ground. Eventually, everyone gets transferred to other detective schools except Milky Holmes. I kind of expected that since they are failures after all. Underneath it all, this causes Cordelia to drag all the girls, including what’s left of the Gentlemen Thieves into a hallucinated state where they escape reality. This consisted of them obsessing over Henriette, which sounds absolutely hilarious providing that they are fondling the camel. Yeah, apparently the humps resemble her big chest, which doesn’t make any sense what so ever.
Thankfully, with Kamaboko getting Stone River out of the illusion, he eventually returns Elly back to normal along with the others after they landed into a lake. After that, the thieves and Milky Holmes said their farewells. With that, the girls started rebuilding a temporary school from what’s left of the building.
After the epic and tragic episode last tine, it’s obvious that Milky Holmes will go into their own dream world since they are left with basically nothing. The only thing that drives them is their motivation. However, it leaves something to think about, especially with the reappearance of Morty Arty, which is Sherlock’s arch nemesis. Although she cute, I don’t trust her one bit as she might unleash some unexpected misfortune. Whatever the case, we will find out more in the next few episodes as we dig deeper in the craziness.
Oh yeah, quite surprisingly… Sheryl didn’t do the Kokoro-chan gag, which is a breath of fresh air since it got pretty old.
