Time for Glamorous Body/Annoying Voice Arc! As expected, it’s filled with cuteness and misunderstandings.
Needless to say, Sae may look cute, but her voice is rather irritating as heard in the last season. Not only that, her ending song, which I reviewed back in 2010 sounded even worse. Thankfully, that isn’t true for her after story despite her voice still sounding mediocre. Also, the dreaded narrator returns, which is quite frankly done by the same man who voiced Kirei from Fate Stay Night and Fate/zero. From that realization, I guess it balances everything out.
Aside from the voice issues, it seems that Sae haven’t gotten over her shyness despite making strides to break it. Sure, Junichi recording tapes of her wearing animal costumes are rather adorable, but it doesn’t exactly solve the problem. On the other hand, she has become more popular than him in the student body. This is very surprising since most people wouldn’t notice her because of her timid personality. I suppose the best couple thing has definitely boosted her popularity because without it, she will remain in the same position and wouldn’t improve at all.
As for the last part of the episode, I found it particularly funny mostly because Miya manages to misunderstand what Sae is up to. She takes the whole thing as if Sae had an arranged marriage or something. In reality, she only wanted to have her dog meet another one. Even so, it was quite hilarious and we got to see her in a Kimono, which she looked pretty in. With that, it leaves us with one more episode of her as she gets forced into the president position on the festival committee and hopefully, it will turn out all right since Junichi, the instructor is by her side.
