Summer 2014 Vacation Update

Since summer started a few days ago, it’s time to share what will happen in the next 11 days (June 26 to July 7th). As mentioned in a Summer Anime Preview post I made earlier this month, I will be going on vacation to the Midwest yet again. Since this month as been rough for me with my blog having traffic woes and such, which cause my motivation to write posts to go down slightly. It’s probably best to take a short break to prevent myself from burning out completely. Hopefully, I will come up with more ideas for future editorial posts once I come back. (Image Source)

Summer 2013 Vacation Update and Marathon Plans

While my post on my Anime Music Tournament nominations is nowhere close to completion, I feel the need to share what will happen late next week and how it’s going to affect my blogging for 11 days. As some might know already, I’m going on vacation starting June 27^th until July 7^th to the Midwest, namely Chicago and mostly dull Wisconsin. I will also be making updates on Twitter and uploading photos to flickr during my vacation.

Even though I will have Internet all week through hotel wireless and my iPhone, I know that some reviews are going to get delayed because I will be on the road. Because of this, posts for the last episode of Gargantia and Photo Kano will be delayed a little, but I will try to get them up. As for the Neptunia Idol game, which released recently, I will write a review on that once I finish the first play through, which will take some time since I have to translate dialog.

With that out of the way, here are the two shows I plan on doing:

Love Live School Idol Project
AKB0048 (first season, from Episode 3 to the end)

I will watch as many episodes as I can while I’m in the car and then write a full review. Of course, revising it will take some time so don’t expect it right away once I finish all the episodes.

In addition, I will be making a “ask me anything” post where you can ask questions as long it is related to blogging, Anime, or video games, which will stay stick to the front page until I come back. I will check them every day as they come in, so please keep it civil. With that, I hope everyone have a nice and fun summer. ¶

Like I have mentioned earlier, tomorrow will be the day I will leave New Jersey for the Midwest on a two-week vacation. I will NOT be on hiatus at this time and will still be making new blog posts while on the road even though they may be delayed until I get to a place with Wireless Internet.

As always, if you want to know what I am doing during vacation, check my Twitter, Google+ (if you have an invite) or my side blog, Shiori’s Diary. I will be posting updates there frequently through my iPhone. I will also approve and respond to any comments if I see any with a small delay. Nevertheless, I hope my vacation is a good one and hopefully everyone enjoys their summer thus far.

Also, feel free to check out the list of shows that I will be marathoning on vacation… These reviews will be posted in a few hours after I completed the series.

Summer Vacation Marathon Plans

As you have known for a while, a vacation was in the works for a while now. The vacation will last for at least two weeks to Minnesota, Wisconsin and Chicago. Since tethering is out of the question, I’m deciding to marathon few Anime series to keep the boredom to a minimum. I will be watching three series that previously aired last season, which I did not get a chance to watch with the addition of two movies, full with a short synopsis from Melative. (Image Source)

Will be away for two weeks on vacation… so see ya until those two weeks are over. I will still be updating this blog, although the post rate might go down a little. I will be back on the full schedule once I come back.

If you want to keep track what I am doing on vacation, check my Twitter profile or my sideblog, Shiori’s Diary. I’ll try and keep up to date with my Anime watching since the hotel have free wireless internet and I can just download the fansubs on my remote computer and SSH them back to my laptop. In the meantime, I will be lurking around the interwebs on my iPhone 3GS, so stay tuned.

For now, so along. 🙂 (and this is NOT a hiatus since I never do those.)

Summer Vacation approaching…

With my vacation approaching, I will be very busy for the last few days before I leave to Wisconsin which is a pretty boring state… not as nice as the place Tomoya took Ushio to… but it will take appromately two days to reach Wisconsin and two days going back and I’m planning to be on vacation for 10 days. However, I will still update my blog since I have Wifi access in the hotel and a iPhone 3G I can tether to my Macbook Pro so I have mobile broadband access in the car. However, it can delay any new episodes of Haruhi, the Kyou Clannad After Story special and the last episode of K-ON! for a few days since I cannot download any of these directly using a public Wifi hotspot. However, I won’t be neglecting the blog for the 10 days I’m away… I promise…. ¶
