Although the story was average, it’s still a fun experience as the characters had enjoyable personalities along with the idea of a friendly war. Despite the mundane ending, it was fun and had charm. With the second season, I expect things to become more exciting as Shinku brings his childhood friend, Becky with Shinku’s cousin, Nanami to that fantasy world.

Second in the Summer Vacation Anime Marathon, I watched Dog Days, a fantasy adventure original anime made by Seven Arcs, the studio known for their work on Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. While people find the story to be pretty shallow, I have actually enjoyed this show because of characters, the lighthearted feeling, and various Eastern RPG elements incorporated in the story (Image Source).
