Oh noes!!! MOE OVERLOAD!!!!!
I have watched the first episode of K-ON! and it looks promising… More after the break.
HIATUS?! This is madness!
I’m just too busy lately and unable to post any more reactionary posts on Anine due to tremendous amount of college work…. if want to know why, read more below.

As with life, all good things must come to a end. Clannad and Clannad ~After Story~ has ended up as a masterpiece which has exceed the level of Kanon (2006) in terms of storyline, music, and character development, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t have flaws… just a few.

As we know, Key writes stories that have a period of happiness before making the reader or the watcher tragically crushed with a unpredictable tragic event happen to one of the characters. Don’t get me wrong, I like most of Key’s works like Kanon and Clannad and soon Air, after watching the anime adaptations by Kyoto Animation… but how this compare to other popular Shoujo anime and works? Yet’s find out, shall we?

With Clannad ~After Story~ almost done, it’s time to map out what I’m watching in Spring…. Not much… but it shouldn’t disappoint.
I’m picking up another Kyoto Animation anime again and this one is on Music and also contain comedy and Moe…. This is a adaptation of it’s manga, but not having read the manga, I don’t know much about it. We will find out on the first week of April, when it airs!
I only have watched one Episode already, but I became interested because it seems to be somewhat popular.
Our unlucky protagonist, Jin, uses the trunk of a sacred tree to carve a statue for a school project. When he takes it outside, to his surprise it begins absorbing the surrounding earth and transforms into, hold your breath on this one, a girl! So like all similar setups this guardian deity is pretty pissed that her tree was cut down and lives with Jin while she takes out her anger on squashing bugs….er, cleaning the “Impurities”.
Yes… I’m doing another Key/Kyoani adaptation, but this time, a one on a summer setting.
Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey, seeking a girl with wings who flies in the sky, as mentioned in a childhood tale. During this journey, he settles down in a small town, trying to make some money. There, he meets a strange girl named Misuzu. Misuzu quickly makes Yukito her friend and invites him to stay with her. Yukito decides to stay in the small town, and continue searching for the winged girl his mother had searched for in her life.
Thats all for Spring… It seems to be a lackluster Spring season, but oh well… maybe Haruhi Season 2 will come out next year then.
“To a place in this city where wishes come true”
Here is the finale all the people have been waiting for! Here it is!
This episode contains 120% more “maid moe!”
It’s that time again… some more Haruhi-chan and Churuya-san…
Uguu~ Not another taiyaki freak!
Almost finishing Clannad ~After Story~, now it’s time to watch another comedy anime series, Kannagi. Kannagi may be just as good as Haruhi (sorry Haruhiists) and have a pretty decent animation. More after the break!
Since I have found a blog post on Kyoto Animation wanting you to cry, here is my take on it.
I have only watch 2 of Key’s works (which have really good story line, music, and animation.) Clannad (2 seasons) and Kanon remake, I have to say that it did make me sad, but did not make me a emotional wreck. As you already know, Key’s stories have always been tragic, but at the end, they are still masterpieces because the way they tell the story. These stories are supposed to develop your emotions and also have a bigger impact at the end of the story. If we go though only happy moments, it’s not going to teach you anything. A person have to go though a time of sadness to become stronger.
Does Kyoto Animation and Key wants to take over the world and make everyone a emotional wreck? No… but I do recommend watching any of Key’s adaptations (AIR, Kanon, Clannad, etc.) who are interested in romance, school life, or slice of life anime to check it out, you won’t regret it!
Note that Kyoto Animation make other adaptations other than Key’s stuff…
