This year, there doesn’t seem to be any shortage of anime filled with drama and tear-jerking moments. Madoka Magica, Hourou Musuko and to a certain extent Hanasaku Iroha have shown us some of the most dramatic scenes thus far. However, Ano Hi Mita Hana No Namae O Bokutachi Wa Mada Shiranai, which perhaps holds the longest title in anime history takes it to an entirely different level with a childhood friend tragedy. The iDOLM@STER – Episode 4 – Durians, Wacky Cooking and Chihaya’s Displeasure
In effort to make the girls of 765 Productions more noticeable, they appear on a wacky Iron Chief-like show with a crazy frog host. While it seemed fun for Haruka, Hibiki, and Takane, Chihaya wasn’t pleased with the lack of singing at the event.

The iDOLM@STER – First Impressions (Episodes 1-3)
We are getting close to the middle of summer and I find myself wanting to watch another show. So I decided to take another look at THE iDOLM@STER, a show that has nothing to do with robots, but a more faithful adaptation of a popular idol raising simulation game. (Image Source)

Summer Vacation Marathon – Dog Days Final Review
Second in the Summer Vacation Anime Marathon, I watched Dog Days, a fantasy adventure original anime made by Seven Arcs, the studio known for their work on Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. While people find the story to be pretty shallow, I have actually enjoyed this show because of characters, the lighthearted feeling, and various Eastern RPG elements incorporated in the story (Image Source).

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Movie 1st – Movie Review
First in the summer vacation marathon, I have watched the Nanoha movie (most namely, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st), which focused on the events involving Nanoha’s befriending of Fate in the original season. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha has been a very enjoyable magical girl series to me as it differs to the traditional genre. It caters to the moe crowd while appealing to others with a rather complex magic system (with some elements of mecha), males using magic and of course yuri. Of course, the first season of Nanoha is not entirely flawless since the animation was lackluster and some important details were left unexplained until the movie came out…
