Now that Pokemon ORAS is now out, I have created a Live Blog over at my sideblog. I will announce when I start since I haven’t got my copy and I need to finish all my classwork before Thanksgiving (so I can spend most of my break playing games).
As for Amagi Brilliant Park, as of now, there is still no subs and it looks like it’s not coming out anytime soon, meaning that I will eventually cover it once it releases (can’t watch the RAWs since I won’t understand all of it). Comes to worst, I’ll combine it in next weeks post for that show.

It has been over 10 years since PokÃĐmon Ruby and Sapphire released in America. Even though Generation III was not my favorite generation, there were many aspects that I liked. Since Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire releases tomorrow, the best way to share my anticipation for the new remakes is to look back at the original games and share some memories I have with it.

Pirates from another world has invaded the water park and held everyone captive. What are we going to do? Seiya has a plan.

A recent episode of Shirobako has brought up an interesting topic regarding the whole 2D Animation vs 3D Animation/Computer Generated Images debate and how should Anime be made. This issue was so controversial that it almost pushed Endou to quit (besides Tarouâs incompetence).
The 2D vs 3D/CGI debate has been a passionate one for the fact that most Anime have 2D animation. As technology improves, animation studios might be eager to adopt 3D/CGI as a way to make it flashier while cut production costs. By doing so, something gets lost in the process, which is why this debate is so passionate not only to fans, but people who work in the industry.

Shirou thought it was a good idea not to bring Saber to school. Sadly, he learned the hard way.

It seems that Seiya is building his own harem, which makes Isuzu really jealous, at least in her dream.

For a long time, I avoided sharing my views on how people view tastes in Anime since it is a controversial issue in the fandom. While some anime bloggers shared their thoughts on the issue, there are many reasons why I do not subscribe to the view there is such thing as good/bad tastes.

Back in 2012, Gust who is known for their work on the Atelier franchise decided to make another series that is set in the same world as the Ar tonelico series. Since the Playstation Vita came out in February of 2012, they decided to experiment with this new handheld by creating a communication dating sim called Ciel nosurge (ã·ã§ãŦããĩãžãļãĨãåĪąãããææ§ãčĐĐã lit. Ciel nosurge ~Song offered to the Lost Star~ ), which is played in real-time over the internet. This game can be described as Animal Crossing meets Love Plus with social elements thrown into it. They recently released an Offline version that removed the online requirements with all the DLC content included, thus making it possible for the player to play at his/her own pace.
While two versions of the game got released after the original (Re:Incarnation and Offline), they also created a sequel titled Ar nosurge, which came out this year in Japan and later got localized to English. I find it odd that they would release that game first considering that the sequel requires the player to finish most of Ciel nosurge in order to fully understand the story. Considering that this game is a niche title, not a role-playing game and is very text heavy, I can understand why Gust and Koei Tecmo arenât willing to localize it. Even so, it seems that people are interested in this game. With that, I will share my initial impressions of the gameplay from the Offline version.

It seems that Shirou was foolish enough to go and protect Saber knowing that he could have been killed. Despite this, it seems that all the girls want a piece of him.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Halloween (personally, I donât celebrate that holiday because of Trick or Treaters, they are rather annoying).
In case you missed it, I have reviewed Tamako Love Story a few days back.

It looks like Seiyaâs 30-yen idea was not a good one since the park is now broke! What is he going to do now?

During the winter of 2013, Kyoto Animation aired Tamako Market, which is a slice of life show that focused on a girl named Kitashirakawa Tamako who is enthusiastic about a marketplace and of course, mochi. While I have enjoyed the show for what it is, it was slightly disappointing at the same time since Mochizou couldnât gather enough courage to confess his feelings towards Tamako. Not to mention, most of the show was spent mostly on her friends or Dera.
As the title suggest, Tamako Love Story finally addresses the shortcomings of the television series that viewers have been wondering all along: Will Mochizou finally have the guts to confess his love towards Tamako and will she accept it?

As expected, Illya finally shows up to kill Shirou and Saber. Will she get her wish?

Finally finished my second round of midterms, so hopefully next weekâs Anime Weekly post wonât come out this late.
Still, Tail Red is cute.

It seems that Isuzu is a bit too demanding to the point where the cast members start to dislike her. I wonder why she acts this way.

With the success of the Neptune franchise, Idea Factory and Compile Heart has been expanding the franchise by making various spinoff games for the Playstation Vita. While I was disappointed with Neptune Idol PP, I had high hopes for Chou Megami Shinkoku Noire Gekishin Black Heart since it was a full-featured strategy RPG with Noire as the main heroine. Does it live up to expectations? Letâs find out.
