After Ren’s friends discover her new video game addiction, the preliminaries are finally here. Ren receives some new helpers as Kanon and others try to find the ideal location.
From last time, Kanon and the other members don’t take Ren’s new gaming addiction negatively. But, of course, Kanon realizes that Ren is overworking herself by doing everything. So, she took the initiative to become the vice president. We also see that Kinako becomes the secretary as well. I guess she wants to spend time with Kanon, obviously.
With that, this leaves the girls trying to figure out where to hold their performance for the preliminaries. Of course, Keke wants something showy. She even goes so far as to ask for a baseball stadium facility with Mei to do their performance at. But, of course, we know what their answer is.
Of course, the stakes were even higher when Sunny Passion showed their stage after the cultural festival. They need to make a statement, given how many groups are competing. But, spoiler alert, they don’t since they are favorites to win.
As for the open house, Kinako asked about it. Kanon decides not to do a concert since it’s too near the preliminaries. Also, they will take the attention away from everyone. Instead, Chisato chose to open a Takoyaki stand, which was a complete failure.
Neo Rainbow Takoyaki seems like a bad idea next to Sanae’s Hyper Rainbow Bread or Lico’s shining onigiri. I find it funny how Natsumi makes a nastier combination by combining Chisato’s Neo Rainbow Takoyaki with a drink to make a smoothie. Somehow, Shiki enjoyed this odd combination.
Of course, Kanon’s little sister came to the open house and looked in the library. This inspires Kanon to look in the school’s history for some inspiration. She eventually runs into Kinako in a park and decides to hang out with her. Still, it’s nice to see some more bonding time with Kinako and Kanon. They came to her family’s café, and the treasurer brought some of her friends. They want to help them out with the Student Council and finding the perfect location.
After receiving several suggestions, Kanon eventually settles on one location and thinks of another location that can fit. Yep, Kanon ran to the place as the other finally caught up. It appears that she figured it out, a road near their school. Yes, it has symbolic meaning, but it worked out in the end. After all, they want to connect people together where all roads connect. Believe it or not, they make it to the next round just like that. Of course, they do.
Glad the girls found their symbol and a pretty cool stage. Performance was great as always.
Wonder if we’ll see Wein next episode or the one after? Been a while since we saw her last.
Kanon manages to pull through in the end of the day. Still, not too surprising to see Wein there, she has an unhealthy obsession for Kanon for some reason and there is more to come from her.
