After a stunning performance by Lanzhu during the open house and Shioriko scolding her, she still against joining the School Idol Club. Regardless, Kazumi, Kanata, Emma, and Rina decide to follow her as Lanzhu prepares to do her surprise performance.
As the girls in the School Idol Club figure plan for the second school idol festival, two school idols came by. They came from Y.G. Academy School Idol where the president, Jennifer, and vice president, Rakshata wants to participate in the festival. Of course, they want to get to know each other more, thus they want to do a joint performance. Everyone in the School Idol Club eventually accepted the idea.
Of course, Emma decides to ask Lanzhu if she wants to participate with Karin and Kazumi. Obviously, she turned it down. It’s obvious that she wants nothing to do with the School Idol Club. Not too surprising given how stuck up she is, and nobody expect her to change her mind overnight. Alas, Kazumi isn’t about to give up on her. More on that later.
After preparations and practice, the poster is finished for the joint concert. Of course, Yuu is busy with her music class as she takes a quiz. Of course, Mia comes in, answers one question and leaves the class. Yep, she is good at skipping classes and for a good reason. She is already good at making music and know her music theory. Yuu revealed to Ai that her family is a renowned musical family and skipped a few grades. They saw Mia trying to play with a cat. Apparently, it’s not interested in her.
We find out a bit about Mia. It seems that Lanzhu dragged her along and Mia uses her to show off she own songs. Yep, Mia is just using her to get her music composition out there. That is kind of smart given how talented Lanzhu is.
Either way, Rina shows Kazumi the Lanzhu fan site that she is looking at. Kanata of course caught attention of Rina looking at it. Of course, Kasumi seems interested in annoyed by her, but Rina wants to see her for some reason. They eventually followed her around, which is quite entertaining at the very least. The funny thing is that Lanzhu bought all the Nijigasaki keychains despite being against joining the club.
Eventually, Kanata, Rina, Emma, and Kazumi saw Lanzhu’s surprise performance. Of course, she notices after the performance and invites them to her condo. Yep, it’s really fancy and such a big place for a teenaged girl to live in. Believe it or not, Kanata and her friends are the first people she invited.
Of course, despite all the convincing, Lanzhu still doesn’t want to join as she will lose her freedom and doing so will hold her back. After all, she wants to prove herself with a solo career. Despite Kanata and her friends trying to convince her otherwise, she still won’t believe it. Yep, she has a one-track mind.
Despite this, Emma believes that Lanzhu isn’t telling the truth about the reason coming to Japan. Eventually, everyone else realizes this. I guess the only way they can change her mind is trying to pull the truth out of her. I wonder how they will do that? Maybe perform together and have Lanzhu watch it? Maybe that might do the trick. We’ll see if this works next time.
Emma felt she could relate to Lanzhu as a fellow foreign school idol but it was clear the answer lies in the heart of battle.
Mia’s a musical prodigy but that usually means they’re socially awkward as we saw from her.
It seems that in the end, I guess it only can be resolved by whose beliefs win out in the end. I think how the end result will play out.
It was good to learn a bit more about Mia, I guess there is more about her that she hasn’t revealed yet.
