Cue – Episode 7 – The Last “Industrial Waste” Group

February 18, 2022 by Chikorita157 3 Comments

Rie comes to a sad realization that they aren’t doing Seiyuu things.

While the other groups are busy with their projects, Satori, Rie, and Mei are languishing in the dorms with nothing to do. Also, they are the only group that has three members, until another member appears.

As expected, the last three members are pretty much fooling around. Satori is reading her favorite manga while drinking some tea. Meanwhile, Mei is playing computer games in a dark room. As for Rie, she does her Chuunibyou things, until she realizes that she is wasting her time. Rie refers her group as Airblue’s industrial waste since she believes they are leftovers after all with no projects.

Apparently, Rio came to meet Rie and Mei about their profiles
Yep, under Rie’s Chuunibyou personality reveals her other normal side.

Of course, Rio comes in and complains about Rie’s profile. As expected, her profile is filled with Chuunibyou stuff. Of course, Rie eventually reveals her true aspects of herself, which she finds embarrassing. It shows how timid and insecure she is. Of course, Rio doesn’t like the answers Mei gave as she leaves several fields blank before fixing it. Thankfully, Misaki seems to have another member to add to make their group complete. I find it funny how Rie chastises Mei over her profile not being professional given the answers she gave initially.

The last and remaining member of the group.

Rio finally introduces Rie, Mei, and Satori to a new member. Her name is Rinne. As expected, she is very energetic and childish. I find it funny how Rie becomes shocked when Rinne says that Rie looks strange but has a normal name. Apparently, she loves being around with kids and taking photos.  Of course, we know why Rie and Mei dressed similarly as they are childhood friends. This explains a lot of things.

Shipping is serious business.
Of course, playing video games when you supposed to practice isn’t going to end well.
Rinne loves playing with children.

Aside from throwing a lunch party and showing Rinne around the dorms, they have nothing else to do. Of course, Rie brings up how useless her group is since they have no current project. That is until Rinne decides to observe each group. While we learn a bit about Satori and Mei. Yes, with Satori’s shipping wars with Aya over pairings and Mei’s gaming skills, they eventually caused trouble and got kicked out.

Not is all lost as Satori, Rie, and Mei saw Rinne play with the kids. Eventually, they sang several songs together. That is until it’s time for them to return home. We learned that Rinne took the same audition for Bloom Ball. After seeing Airblue audition and the warm feelings from the girls, she decided to join.

Despite having no project, Rinne seems overly optimistic as they can do anything. That is well, waste time, I guess. Either way, Satori, Rie, and Mei goes back to doing their own activities.  Aside from that, the focus is finally back on Haruna’s team as they continue to record.

Rie is a great Chuuni and Mei is her cute “Marcie”. Satori is hot and her BL passion both amusing and dangerous. Hardcore shippers are wild after all.
Makes sense for a genki full of hope like Rinne to join a group without hope.

As they say, shipping is serious business and one really doesn’t want to get themselves in a shipping war. Still, it will be interesting how Rinne fits into the group.
