At last, the other girls finally get some time in the spotlight as Riko, Mahoro, Aya, and Miharu moves into the dorms. Yes, as the balloon suggests, fate is what brings them together.
As expected, while Aya head to work after going to a bookstore, she finds a red balloon. Of course, she loses her grip of it and it few away. Yes, she chased after it until Mahoro finds it. As expected, when Riko cashes into them, they lost it again. Yes, we have three girls chasing after one balloon that Rio and Misaki eventually saw it outside the window.
In the end, it eventually flew into the girls’ destination. Yes, Miharu, who was practicing notices that there was a balloon there. Yep, fate is what brings them together by this red balloon. While this can all be a coincidence to see the girls chasing after this balloon, they are now a team now. Of course, they are on the third floor with four other girls.
Aside from that, while they don’t have any jobs yet, they decided to do a radio show together. Yes, to get their names out. If you don’t follow actual seiyuus in real life, they happen to do their own web variety shows, podcasts, and radio recordings. I probably watch more of them once I improve my vocabulary. Same deal here.
During the recording, the girls talk about various things, namely that cat that Aya found. This is what ultimately brought them the idea to have this radio podcast, More on that later. Of course, the cat was suffering and apparently lost. While Aya wants to keep it, it becomes obvious that the fur is well groomed to be a stray. Its owner is probably looking for it.
Apparently, Aya grows an attachment to Mii. The only problem is that Misaki isn’t going to allow them to keep a cat. Not only that, even if they could, Haruna has a pet turtle and cats do not mix with them. I find it surprising that Aya’s attachment to the cat is strong that she doesn’t want to give it up. She is willing to move out the dorm to keep it, which frustrates Mahoro, especially when they found the owner.
I find it funny how Aya is not being rational. Is she really going to give up her dream over a cat? I understand that she is still a teenager and when someone is very young, they tend to make irrational decisions. After all, it’s not end of the world as she can always get a cat once she makes it big. Thankfully, she comes into terms after they give the cat back to its rightful owner. After the owner thank Aya for nursing the cat. Sure, she is sad to see the cat go, but she is happy to receive gratitude from a good act of kindness.
From that experience, the girls figure out what to do together. After Riko mentions that she listens to radio programs done by other seiyuus, she wants to give it a try. With the internet, the girls can get their name out there. Yes, they even mention that balloon that brought them together. Either way, it’s nice that the cat’s owner was listening to their program.
We got to see the preview of a seiyu podcast, which was lovely, especially because it’s hosted by four of the five sexiest AiRBLUE seiyu.
I felt Aya’s pain. Very noble sacrifice for the greater good. She got two new fans because of it.
Mahoro being a big ol’ softie was to be expected. Her Type A tsundere-ness is both cute and sexy.
Agreed. It’s silly for her to give up her dream over a cat, but it’s good that Mahoro pushed her to the right direction.
