Urasekai Picnic – Episode 3 – The Cold Truth Behind Sorawo’s Attraction To Toriko

January 18, 2021 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
As expected, Sorawo kind of let her guard down.

As expected, it seems that Sorawo may be falling for Toriko as she drags her deeper into the Urasekai for some supplies.

The overall jest of the episode is that Toriko drags Sorawo to another dangerous adventure. This time, she wants to go to a shack, where her friend, Satasuki might have a stockpile of weapons and ammunition. Yes, no matter how many times Sorawo whines about Toriko dragging her around.

That was a close call.

Not only that, she also complains about becoming tired over having to throw rocks to reveal the glitches, it’s obvious that she wants to be with her. Sure, Toriko came up with the idea of tying a rope to a rock and throwing it. However, it’s not a good idea as they don’t know what will happen if they hit a glitch.

While it looks abandoned, it’s not.
Obviously, they are hiding from something.

They eventually arrived at the village, which seems deserted. As expected, Sorawo somehow loses sight of Toriko and almost got herself into trouble. Thankfully, Toriko finds Sorawo as they hid in the shed. Yep, the village is not deserted after all as Sorawo accidentally falls on the brittle wall of the shed. Either way, the big head villagers chased them, but they thankfully made it to the portal to the real world safely.

This is a sign that Sorawo is falling for Toriko’s pretty looks.

While one can say that this adventure was a failure, but it led to interesting developments to Sorawo’s and Toriko’s relationship. In the beginning of the episode, Sorawo looked at a beauty magazine in a bookstore. She wonders if it’s a good idea to hang around with her. However, when Toriko came by, Sorawo looks at her. Toriko’s pretty looks captivates Sorawo. Also, in a similar fashion like last time, Sorawo frantically looked for Toriko after she disappears and becomes worried about her. Of course, she downplays it later.

Yes, it seems that Toriko has an interest in Sorawo.
While Sorawo can keep denying, it’s only a matter of time.

By now, there is no denying that Sorawo is falling for Toriko. Even after experiencing another near-death experience trying to run away from those big head villagers. It seems that Toriko notices when she says that Sorawo is her rock. After all, Sorawo thanks to her enhanced vision pinpointed the escape route, which allowed them to escape.

From this, Toriko is glad that Sorawo took the plunge with her while escaping and wants to team up. As expected, she said yes, which makes it obvious that she grown closer to her. After all, she most likely has feelings for her already. Moreover, they need to rely on each other to get through the Urasekai. Sorawo can’t just rely on her enhanced vision to uncover the glitches. Toriko’s strength in throwing rocks to reveal glitches helps too. Sure, she wants to rethink this decision, but I highly doubt it will happen.

Sorao’s wall of denial is slowly crumbling as her feelings for Toriko grow stronger as does her jelly for Satsuki.

It’s only a matter of time until this happens. Still, I wonder how their relationship goes from here. Still, I also wonder about Satsuki as well. We’ll find out soon enough.
