Now that Mari and Mikake steps out of the spotlight as they prepare for entrance exams, they made Ino the president. How will Ino fare with the club activities?
From last time, Mikake and Mari made a surprising announcement after the cultural festival activities ended. Of course, this doesn’t come at a surprise. They made Ino the president. With that, Mira became the vice president, and Ao, the treasurer. Yes, Ino has huge expectations to meet and it appears that she is not ready. Still, it’s understandable why Mari gave her this position. She wants her to change the way she looks at things. In a way, Mari wants Ino to step outside of her comfort zone and try new things.
The funny thing is that Moe wanted to win the best food stall award. It didn’t quite work out since the Earth Sciences Club only managed to get 2nd place. The pancakes weren’t good enough and she couldn’t bribe Misa. Still, it’s funny how Suzu gives Ao a bill for all that food from last time. After all, she did it to promote her bakery after all, even if it’s way over budget.
Aside from that, Ino receives her first big task. Yuki reveals that she wants Ino, Mira and Ao to help out with an astronomical observation with children. Of course, Moe encourages Mira and Ao to do it since it will give Ino the chance to build her confidence. After all, Moe is going to receive some benefit from it too.
With that, Mira, Ao and Ino set up the event. Mira and Ao set up the telescope while Ino handle the event and take pictures. It seems that she is very nervous as Mira does the presentations in front of the children. Ao eventually shows them Jupiter and the stars through the telescope. Moe and her little sister, Megu came to help out with the sweets for the children.
However, there is a girl named Haruka who is not enjoying the event. It’s bound to happen since their parents forces her to go. Thankfully, Ao shows her that stars are not just dots, but show the idea the universe is like from the distant past. After all, it takes time for light to travel from far away. That was enough for Haruka to become interested in stargazing again, even well after the event.
While it went well for Mira and Ao, Ino had a hard time. Apparently, all the pictures came out blurry. Don’t worry, Ino will eventually get better at it. Operating an actual camera takes more effort than simply using a smartphone camera. Even so, Ino can simply touch up the pictures and mess around with the camera picture settings, providing she used RAW image format.
The next day, it appears that Ao is absent. It’s odd since she and Mira called each other while looking at stars. Apparently, Ao simply caught the cold when Mira came to visit her. Thankfully, it’s not the Novel Coronavirus that everyone is scared about, including me. Mira also recited something in front of Ao that Moe sent her, which causes her to become super embarrassed. Yes, Mira shouldn’t just say anything that she believes. Either way, it seems that Ao doesn’t have any problem with it.
As for why Mikake and Mari planning to do. Yes, besides the entrance exams, they plan to go to the same college. The major they decided on still remains a mystery. Either way, at least Ino haven’t given up on being the president just yet. She tries to give it another go by possibly trying to participate in an Earth Science Olympiad. How will that turn out, we’ll find out next time.
Best part was clearly Mari’s attempt to “cheer” up Ao. Pretty sure Suzu either considered or used one of those lines from the site.
Yes, definitely. I like how Moe wants to take her home so she won’t move away. Then again, Mira will never allow this. But things will work out in the end.
