Azur Lane – Episode 10 – Kaga Defies Nagato and Belfast Snaps

December 12, 2019 by chikorita157 2 Comments

The evil version of Enterprise is taunting her.

Even after the battle in the arctic, Enterprise is still not herself. Eventually, she stops eating breakfast, thus Belfast has to take drastic actions.

The girls are still figuring out what the cube does.

It’s not too surprising that the situation seems dire for the Sakura Empire. With Ayanami, Akashi and Akagi missing, Nagato decides to pull the plug on Project Orochi. Surely, Kaga doesn’t seem happy about this.

In the past, Amagi is sick.
The Observer siren enticing Akagi.

Of course, the Observer lured Akagi into doing this with the promise to bring Amagi back from the dead. Akagi is not swayed by it, although they went through with it eventually. Apparently, their older sister passed away from a sickness of some sort. Either way, in the flashback, Akagi is very intimate with Amagi.

Javelin and her friends promise Ayanami to help save her friends.

Meanwhile, it’s nice that Javelin, Laffey, and Unicorn is willing to help rescue Ayanami’s friends. Sure, Ayanami seem to like the girls at Azur Lane, but she is worried about her friends at the Sakura Empire. I can see why given the troubles they are going through. Of course, when they are working with the devil as in the Sirens, this can explain the troubles with the Sakura Empire.

Enterprise sees a fake Amagi in her nightmare.

While sleeping, Enterprise has a nightmare of going out the hall and seeing it on fire as she sees an evil version of herself and Amagi. While she tells her to cut it out, the fake Amagi said something about Orochi before she woke up. I guess the black cube have something to do with it.

Belfast had enough and tries to bring Enterprise back to her senses.
Oh no! It looks like a Siren has stolen the black cube!

Thankfully, Belfast found her and brought her back to the bed. She eventually had enough with Enterprise being over emotional. She drags her to breakfast until a surprise attack. Apparently, the Purifier Siren stolen the black cube and summoning a bunch of Siren ship. Meanwhile, while Prinz Eugen thought about taking Orochi for herself. Sadly, Kaga got to it already. Now the Sakura Empire is panicking now that Kaga is going against Nagato’s will.

Of course, we have to wait until next year to see how it ends. It’s not too surprising with the animation troubles the show is facing. It does remind me the production troubles of Märchen Mädchen. This time, given the studio is new, I guess this project was a bit too much for them to handle. Hopefully with the delay, the last two episodes will look better production wise. ¶

That Black Cube has been nothing but trouble.

Belfast taking action was fantastic. Hopefully that’s what was needed to bring Belfast back to reality so to speak.

Nice seeing Laffey’s harem sticking together.

Hopefully the wait for the final two episodes will be worth it.

Anything associated with those sirens are just bad news. But yes, it’s good that Belfast is taking the initiative to bring Enterprise back to her senses.

Let’s hope the last two episodes won’t have production issues.
